dont really think todays country is woke.. some of it is pretty damn good. i definitely prefer 70s outlaw country, but you have to give credit to some artists like chris stapleton for their songwriting ability and amazing vocals. i think that many older people today are quick to judge newer artists, just as their parents and grandparents did when they were younger- stop this cycle of judgement, give it a chance! :)

love the words. reminds me of our own family when churches were at war my uncles, aunts had to turn their backs to us and walk around us. We lived in a small town of around 200 people. Now the churches are more tolerant and family friendly. Still love late dad who always went his own way while still keeping his faith. family is good so is forgiveness.
