  • A moderate but short hike overlooking two beautiful lakes, the Dublin Mountains and the Irish Sea.
    Lough Bray Upper and Lower are two of the many black lakes found in the Dublin and Wicklow Mountains. Partially visible from the road, the lakes truly show off their beauty to those willing to put in a bit of effort and hike!

    I remember we did this hike a while ago and that narrow path with a drop on the left scared me terribly as i have a fear of heights. A helpful fellow hiker helped me to avoid it by taking my hand and going up higher, the views were fabulous. Regards Paul.

      Yes fabulous views from the top actually we sat their for half an hour enjoying the view, was wondering what way you went back, ive done both but prefer the rock face.thanks for the comment.anna
