Glenbarrow Eco Walk
This walk was a great find, good for all types of walkers ,great for dogs also, kids will love the adventure part of the walk including trying to find the lost village the waterfalls are beautiful, and the trees make you dizzy when you look up. the echo part of the walk is 10k which begins on a slow incline through the forest onto a road then into a side track gradually reaching the top, this route also includes the waterfalls.

A plesent day at times, the walk from Pamplona to the outskirts brings you through a few urban areas until you get to jacob's way then the journey begins.we were very suprised when we got to the top of Alto Del Perdon, because we were expecting a steeper climb according to the map so not as steep as you think.
Zubiri to Pamploma Day 3

This is a handy walk mainly down hill, leaving Zubiri at a height of 550 meters and arriving in pamploma at a height of 450 meters, a nice walk were you will enter the Basque country, were it is as green as Ireland, when it rains it can get a bit dangerous coming down the path ways. also remember to stop for something to eat and drink.
Roncevaux to Zubiri Day 2

Roncevaux to Zubiri is a easy 22km walk going from a hight of 880 meters to 520 meters.The thing i would say about this walk is were boots or some form of ankle support because at times, actually the last quarter of the walk is very rocky and has razor sharp slates that could do you some damage, so watch out and go slow.bien Camino everybody.

n my opinion this hike is dangerous for the inexperience hiker, because their is no trail to speak off, no signal, when the fog comes your visibility is down to zero, the ground is rough and rugged and your more likely to twist or even break you leg, the map that you download is liable to be inaccurate as in position and slow. i would avoid this route if possible.not for the inexperienced.If yo...

Mullaghmeen Blue Route

This walk starts from the car park near the forest entrance at Hammondstown and loops through the largest beech forest in Ireland. There is a good display of woodland flowers in the springtime, especially bluebell. From this forest there are scenic views of Lough Sheelin and the surrounding areas. Dogs are allowed and can be unleashed in certain areas.

This is an easy 8k walk, great for kids and family and dogs can be let of leads in certain areas, its divided into colour coded areas depending how far you want to walk white route been the longest.

Thanks jason a struggle at the end but worth it, plenty of water and breaks, it dosent matter how long it takes ,as long as you get their, enjoy it and remember to sit down and enjoy the beauty of the mourns, to many people these days trying to beat times and dont see the beauty thats around them.let me know how you get on.👍
@@walkthewalkswithpaul8096 You're absolutely right Paul, it's always best to do it at a comfortable pace and take in all of the surroundings..... people do try to go fast sometimes but if you try to break records you'll only end up breaking bones instead. I'll be setting out at 7am just to give myself plenty of time
just back from doing Slieve Donard, tough walk and we made it all the way to the top, approx 5hr round trip with a 15min break due to heavy rain

i am really chaffed to follow irish people on the camino, ireland is waking up thank god, so are the germans too. buen camino. i was never in ireland, know england well because my daughter lived in london and been to edinburgh, canterbury, york, winchester, salisbury, leicester - david ickes town - and others.

I was trying to recall where Dogarea was. Then I worked out what it really said.😂😂😂 I’m enjoying your camino.
I did the Cuilcagh Mountain today Paul all the way to the top. A great climb and the boardwalk definitely did help, but the weather just didn't cooperate.....it got so bad at times the Stairway to Heaven felt more like the Highway to Hell (666 metres remember 😈) but there were some clearer intervals. I'd say it took me 2 hours up and 1 hour 50 mins down.
Ah the weather dont you just hate it, when it turns on you. Done this walk twice and the weather was bad, their is a better hike if ur interested from the opposite side of the Stairway its a bit rugged but more interesting its one of my videos call stairway to heaven via Ben Beg👍

Was talking to a couple of guys yesterday and they said their is now some steps near the top but it makes the walk a little bit harder.😬

Anne that was a tough day in fact that climb was higher than the highest mountain in ireland, but what an achievement anne, the 2 girls done great as they haven't climbed that height before. And a well deserved rest and a pint.😅😅

Well done to all for staying with the hike. The rain added to the experience along with the down trees.
To be honest once you start you might as well finish it, the trees were a small distraction from the rain 🤣🤣

Yes very peaceful and they have added a few more walk short ones but that how we all start,plus a new coffee stand.
