I do feel checkmate made less mistakes on Mei than backbone did (although ammitedly backbone didn't make many). Probably viol2t man, he even played dps sometimes and dominated. He hit 4700 SR on all roles in OW1. Fleta, Profit and Choihyobin are also impressive tho.

Krillin just seemed to play a bit safer, while still getting some good pop offs, especially with his Ult. Majed did play her more than anyone though for sure.
Honestly I feel like Jimmy was the best hanzo. I know he only was on the team for the spring stage but he was SO dominant that I feel like he still deserves the title

I found it extremely interesting that Backbone & Sparkr switched mid season! Originally Backbone was the Bastion and player and Sparkr played Sym! I think it just showed that London was willing to adapt and make hero changes! (Also wish Backbone got Mei and Landon got Bap) but I’m just a London fan thru out so it was cool to see some of my team to get it some of the spotlight!
It was mostly because backbone was playing mei most of the time and then could switch between mei and bastion, but bastion was just better by the end and sparkr was the better one. Interesting how both their sym play was elite too
OK that's kind of an exaggeration imo, I'm fine with people saying Rupal is better on Bap but you can't write off Landon, the guy is a mechanical demon on the hero as well and won fights for London almost on his own multiple times. I feel like he gets written off as just one of the cogs in the London brawl machine by some people but he was more than just that.@@RK9.

That's a lot of recency bias picking MER1T for most of the hitscan heroes. Florida won it all on the back of the whole team, MER1T is good but not God tier yet

I do not like the Sparkr bastion pick. He never knew when to tempo ult to set pace and would save his ultimate for overwatch 3 many a times. My hot take for london is that backbone is the smarter player, so put him on Bastion, he would know when to set pace and when to ult, and have Sparkr on sym. Sparkr's sym was still very decent and at times watching Backbone's sym Backbone was tping just to tp and flip the map/sides when it usually didn't do anything. Backbone was trying to do too much on sym whereas Sparkr's sym just got the job done. As well as Bastion is a comfy character (not squishy like mei) that isn't too difficult to learn, it's not like a harder hitscan like a sojourn or an ashe. You can still shotcall on Bastion the same amount as he does with mei or symmetra. I feel like when Backbone plays symmetra there is too much to think about and too many possibilities with teleport that sometimes he tps his team way too passively in situations essentially giving the enemy team free space in some situations, while Sparkr's symmetra stuck to a plan. We already know Backbone is good mechanically as well enough to play Bastion, and he would have the gamesense to use his ultimate more wisely than Sparkr would have. Belosrea is honestly a sleeper shout for Orisa, during playins he was actually not missing spears but the Smurf pick is still really good
He also stuffed Mag pretty hard in Dorado as both Orisa vs Mag’s Ball and as Ball vs Mag’s Orisa.
I just want to add onto Lip’s Sombra.
He was so good at this hero, he was quite the only reason why the hero was Meta in Pro play in the first place.
