Nice clean, clear, concise demo! I am already loving 2023! I might have chosen a bit more contrast for the dynamic background, but, as you note, easily customizable! As a former product manager, great job on the new capabilities for this year.
Oh absolutely, there are so many different directions you can take these. Honestly, one of the major reasons I keep getting stuck is I have a bunch of different things I want to try with Dynamic Backgrounds each time I start a new video...eventually I just have to give up and pick one, and just say to myself "I'll use that one on the NEXT video..." :) Thanks for watching, and for the feedback!
@@KellyRushTechSmith This is MUCH quicker for me to customize than Resolve Studio and Motion Array. Some projects require 10 hours of effort, others, are perfect for 15 minutes of Camtasia ease of use!!
@@lastsonofthewest2444 The right tool for the right job, for sure! I think that's one of the most powerful aspects of what we have with Dynamic Backgrounds here. We start you off with a good base, and make it easy for you to do a few quick tweaks to customize it and make it unique to your project in less than a few minutes.
Useful tutorial! Thank you. I'm so happy I saw your video. You've used a visual equalizer here which I've been dying to get for camtasia. Can you tell me how you did that? I really need it for my videos. Thank you :)
Thank you so much, glad you enjoyed the tutorial, and I hope you find Dynamic Backgrounds to be a useful addition to Camtasia for you! The audio equalizer that I used in this video was created initially in After Effects, and then modified in Camtasia. How are you hoping to use them in your videos, I'd love to hear more! I have a tutorial about how to do this here - th-cam.com/video/CNRPZ3FAsGs/w-d-xo.html
@@KellyRushTechSmith Hi. Thanks for replying. I made educational videos and podcasts and a visual equalizer would really really boost the appearance of my content and since I'm not familiar with how Ae works, I wish Camtasia would have it. Like the lottie files update was a huge huge gift to us users, I hope we'll be getting the visual equalizer too. Thanks for the link!
That's great feedback, thank you for sharing @@BahaariTV! Agree that the way Camtasia works with Lottie files makes them incredibly flexible AND easy to use. Obviously After Effects is a pretty powerful, but also very complicated tool for making video content, and I'm willing to bet we could find an interesting way to bring that power to Camtasia, without so much complexity. Will take your feedback to heart, thank you again for sharing!
Great question Martin! I did the effect in After Effects, and brought it into Camtasia to build the asset. I did a tutorial showing a different version of how to do that here - th-cam.com/video/CNRPZ3FAsGs/w-d-xo.html It's a really cool effect, is that something you're hoping to do for your videos?
Hello! I don't have one specific for the border effect, but you can see a little bit about how to use it in this tutorial I just made. Thanks for stopping by! th-cam.com/video/IEjwOI_lmNU/w-d-xo.html
Hi, I'm currently trying out Camtasia but the problem is the dynamic background comes as default. I don't want it because I have designed my studio as a background. Simple question, how do I turn it off.
Hello! Dynamic backgrounds have to be added to your project by hand in most cases, so you shouldn't have to turn it off. Perhaps what you're encountering is our new Rev workflow, which CAN add a Dynamic Background by default after recording? If so, to turn this off, simply disable the Rev slider at the bottom-right corner of the Camtasia Recorder window, before you begin a recording. Alternatively, you can also choose to turn off the background in the Rev interface after you make a recording.
Hi, yes cheers, I had been watching older videos of Camtasia and was wondering why this was happening to me, then I watched a 2023 version and it explained about Rev, (really good by the way) and I realized I had had a Doh moment. Thanks for getting back to me. @@KellyRushTechSmith
After all, even after a long wait, the Audio Syncronise Feature was not given in Camtasia. audio syncronise is a very important feature that will take Camtasia a lot further but don't know why Camtasia is not able to add this feature. I have waited for this feature for almost a long time but now it seems that it will not be possible that's why I have now shifted to other software... My experience with Camtasia was okay but this feature would have been better Could... ThankYou Camtasia
