That isn't faire, they did some really good shows after that and gravity falls wasn't cancelled by disney, the creator simply was overwhelmed with it and decided to move on and not have mental health issues because of the show. Seems reasonable to me

Imagine when Dipper grows up, he decides to move to Gravity Falls. One day he goes to the diner and it's pretty packed. He takes one of the only seats left. Somebody walks up to him and asks, "Is this seat taken?" The voice sounds familiar to Dipper. He turns his head, and a grown up Pacifica is standing there. They greet each other in surprise. They catchup with each other over a plate of flapjacks. After they're done eating, they go for a walk. They passed by the mystery shack, which Ford let him have when he and Stanley moved in to the Mcgucket retirement home. They wander into the forest, and find a nice pond. They say next to it. "I know we never really dated, but you were the closest thing to a girlfriend I ever had," Dipper says to Pacifica. She blushes. Dipper laughs. Before they knew what was happening, the kids from two different sides of town were in love.

I don't trust fanfictions to treat the characters with as much care as Hirsch would, and I doubt that any writer will keep the characters 100% faithful to who they are in the show. But if anyone knows any that are actually good and true to the nature of the show and the characters, let me know. I'd love to read some good Gravity Falls fan-stories.

They literally JUST got finished disliking each other and developed a frenemies sort of relationship. A lot of people seem to forget that any enemies to lovers trope worth its crap takes time. It's not enemies to lovers, its enemies, to allies, to friends, to lovers.
While I agree that enemies to lover isn't something that normally happens in reality, its still a possibility. Acting like its impossible or that its possible with definite negative consequences is unfair
Keep in mind, you could use that one episode of Conspiracy Corner where McGuckett talked about romances developing where he mentions Mabel and Mermando and Dipper and Pacifica... there’s also the boatload of time offscreen they could’ve used to get to know each other... not saying it’s canon or objectively the right thing, just saying it’s a likely thing to happen

This is why we have fanfictions. My favourite is 'Turning a New Leaf' by TheEarthbendingRavenclaw where Pacifica runs away from home on her 18th birthday after her parents try to force her into an arranged marriage in order to make their fortune back. She joins up with Dipper, Stan and Ford who've founded their own paranormal exploration team on the Stan O War II and over the course of her newfound freedom she and Dipper begin to realise their love for each other. It's a great story.

I actually enjoy the ship of Dipper and Pacifica. As we know Pacifica was more or less Mabel's rival, which automatically makes Pacifica an enemy to Dipper. Mabel didn't like Pacifica, mainly because Pacifica was mean to her while putting her down and this lasted until the mini golf episode, in which Mabel decided to more or less end their rivalry. Despite this Dipper still didn't like Pacifica until the northwest manor episode. Dipper started to see a better side of Pacifica and she was genuinely being nicer to Dipper, even saving him at one point. Dipper and Mabel aren't really seen with Pacifica until the weirdmageddon finale, and while they aren't seen as friends, Pacifica is at least more tolerant of Dipper and Mabel, and she was present at their birthday and gave them presents. Also after seeing Dipper and Pacifica in an adventure in the gravity falls graphic novel, it only makes you feel that Dipper and Pacifica would end up together at some point.

@Dem GachaTubers they are at least around the same age, they have moments where they get along, they have saved each other, and there are plenty of hints that Dipper and Pacifica like each other.

I liked the way the Dipper and Pacifica was handled. Not a main focus of the show. Just a little treat.
Although I wished they did, Alex Hirsch did say he didn’t want the twins in any relationships at that age. Also, it would be kind of awkward I guess and the story would be a bit different in some ways, like the ending and Weirdmaggeddon. Well at least we have fan fiction.

id love to see some type of relationship with them! ive always shipped them because theyre such polar opposites-- it never seemed like it could work, but in Northwest Mansion Mystery they prove that wrong. of course, they hated each other and just wanted to get the mystery over with. dipper was overall being casual and a bit bitter about the situation and even hilariously roasting her on her hair. and pacifica was being her usual self, totally stuck up with an attitude.
but eventually, pacifica revealed some of the struggles she goes through. dipper served as a person to comfort her and be honest with her; shes not used to either of those things in the cruel and dishonest way she was raised--dipper is good for pacifica.
dipper is usually a scrawny, sweaty, anxious pre-teen who almost constantly tries to proove himself to those around him. but for some reason when he was with pacifica, he was acting more calm and easy. that might have something to do with the way his character contrasts pacificas. dipper seemed personally happy to let loose and show pacifica how to have some fun as they rebelled together by playing with mud on her parent's rug--pacifica is good for dipper.
i feel like theyre always going to have that 'making fun of each other' dynamic, but it would most likely get more playful. that would lead to hilarious interactions we didnt know we needed and an overall less sappy/lovey-dovey relationship that really doent fit dippers character. there's a lot of tension between the two of them because they are such polar opposites, but deep down, they work for each other. :-)

Yup, I always thought the one missed opportunity that this show had was exploring a Dipper/Pacifica ship. My favorite episode of the entire series is the Northwest Mansion episode. I have seriously watched that episode more times than any other episode in the series.
Well their relationship need to be build up before they decided *if* they want to be together. They might not but probably.
Maybe in the near future, when Dipper grows into an old man, if you read fanfiction.

Who knows only time will tell. Alex may have moved on or he could be plotting something big think about it every time someone asks if there will ever be anything to do with gravity falls in the future he will allways answer with a straight face and he doesn't really answer the question. So he could be plotting something to happen with the owl house or this is his way of letting down the fans easily.

Dipper was the best thing to happen to Pacifica. They are adorable together.
My dream is that Gravity Falls will be revived and Dipper and Pacifica will be boyfriend and girlfriend and Pacifica will be nicer because she finally has someone who loves her and she won’t have to deal with her parents

The show just overall did Pacifica’s character dirty, they spent most of the show making her beef with Mabel, but like petty beef that didn’t affect her character at all, they should’ve done something with the dynamic of Pacifica and dipper earlier, like at the golf course episode they could’ve made dipper save Pacifica form the golf balls causing her to have a crush on him, or like some other weird 12 year old crush things… anyway what I’m trying to say is PACIFICA NEEDS MORE SCREEN TIME!!!!!
This is the main reason why I want the show to come back. And who knows, if Phineas and Ferb are getting a reboot, then maybe we’ll see these characters again. Maybe they’ll even show up in Phineas and Ferb.

I shipped them really hard and I feel like they had crushes on each other
First of all I adored this shell so much, and honestly I didn’t care too much about shipping the two things that dragged me into the show were the characters and the mystery as well as the writing,comedy and dark element that came with it. For the longest time I didn’t really care about checking shipping but when I saw northwest mansion mystery I had a change of heart. I like the chemistry and dynamic that these two characters. I could honestly see them having a really special relationship in which Pacifica grew more as a character and and great high profile adventures to come. I love the influence Dipper had on Pacifica, she shown a braver, kinder, And even more complex and vulnerable side of her.during the finale she kind of pulled a 180 where she was a bit sour again, but I would love to do the show and carried on some kind of sequel or comic book and whatever where they got to hang out a lot more. After that episode NWMM Pacifica became more of an interesting character and I liked Do you see more of her explored. Making more friends I’m getting closer to dip or exploring the world that was beyond your understanding on finding her true potential. Dipper could offered her that world, and I believe Pacifica even could help him with his confidence. With other girls dipper could be a little awkward but with Pacifica he was actually himself. I think these two characters and their relationship could’ve gotten many different directions this just could be me as a shipper talking as I steer off of the show and more on a relationship but still these two I believe have a potential be really great and truly happy with each other. I believe Pacifica would be especially happy with him, I’ve always been kind of a sucker for an opposites attract (Granted that depends on the chemistry) and I could see these to having something special. It’s too bad we couldn’t see that on screen but we do you get that in fanfiction and art.

Hopefully, we'll get a follow-up to Gravity Falls in the next few years. In said potential follow-up we could see Dipper and Pacifica in a more romantic relationship, the Northwests did move out of Gravity Falls at the end of the series. It would be hilarious to see a teenage Dipper in a high school for the socioeconomic elite all through his own merit and meeting Pacifica again there. There are a few things we don't know about Dipper and Mable's parents, one of those being where they stand financially. Now, in my opinion, it would be highly amusing for Pacifica's parents to suffer a major personal blow to discover that one or both of the parents of the Pines twins are just as, or more, wealthy than they are but have chosen to not show this due to various reasons, mostly to do with family, and would be even more hilarious to have Dipper and Mable learn this after reaching 14 or 15 years old through the act of their parent literally handing them a notification on their individual trust funds. Pacifica could probably boast to the other elites at school how big her trust fund is, only for Dipper casually say he didn't have to buy his way into the school and actually got in as the shool's "charity case" that's established for legal reasons then offhandedly state his parents gave him a trust fund that actually rivals Pacifica's. The funny thing about the Pines twins is that when their personalities aren't affected by having access to boatloads of money, unlike the Northwests who actually showboat and parade their wealth around despite having well-documented cases of literally cheating almost everyone they've worked with out of finances and benefits in order to make or keep their fortune.
We're likely never getting anything else from this show.

i think the show did it justice. what i would like to see is either a movie or an OVA a few years later with dipper and Pacifica going on another adventure with Mabel, and both realizing they have stronger feelings for each other, than just friends, and denying it every step of the way while also improving each others character. it would be both comical and wholesome.
