    Beautiful soap. I've been wanting to make soap (I've never made soap ever) and for the last 2 years have watched many soapmaker videos on youtube. I think this year I'll get over my fear and just give it a try. Thanks for sharing.

    Thank you for a great soap making video. I’ve been wanting to learn how to make a “Yoni” soap but was too intimidated, your tutorial was easy to understand and I really appreciate that you shared the recipe.
    Now, onto the binge watching all your soap making videos😊.

    Hi Charmae, That's one beautiful soap. I'm new to the soap making world, and trying to pluck up the courage to dive in. I've seen a lot of videos but no one ever explains how to come up with a recipe. I mean, for example what made you decide to do half vinegar half water? Why not all vinegar? Why those particular oils and in those quantities? What if you wanted to throw another ingredient in there, such as aloe vera? Or fenugreek seeds? How would you work out the quantity and so on? It is so confusing for me. Please could you help de-mystify the world of soap? Thank you.

    I love ylang ylang, but just a little since it’s too sweet for my liking. I just made massage candles with a blend of ylang ylang and patchouli
    Beautiful soap

      She won't tell you. Because the cold process soap will always be alkaline(7+) if we add NaoH.

    Or you can pour the hot lye water to melt the hard oils...

    • @raptureofpresent
      @raptureofpresent 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is not recommended according to my research and common sense.
      You destroy all oil properties..
      Oil's temperature must be kept low or max at recommended melting points..

    Hi there absolutely LOVE your videos. You make it so easy for us beginners. Question, you are making 50oz, how is your water/acv ratio 9.65 oz (total). Soapcalc calls for 14.20oz of liquid. I'm just trying to understand. Am I reducing anything? I'm trying to understand so that I can make a smaller batch then what you made.

      Her mold is 50oz. She made 34oz of soap which needs 9.65oz of liquid.

    Given that the lye will neutralize all acids to produce salt, chances are very good the benefits of vinegar will be lost once saponification occurs.
