I love the occasional longer video. They keep me company while I'm faffing or crocheting, so it doesn't seem like much time at all. I've never seen liquid soap made before, so this was really interesting to me 😊 Thank you 🫧
Great video and very helpful. Have you ever thought of bringing a book out or even a downloadable on different products every so often. I would certainly buy them.
Great informative video. I tend to make a huge batch which lasts me about a year or so, for pennies. My favourite has to be cream soap, and lasts me over a year. The longer it goes, the better it is like castile. I moved house and found some castile which had cured for over 5 years! I make it in Pringles cans and had just forgotten. The soap was amazing.
Like always, a great video! I want to make liquid soap for my shop for such a long time! Now I saw a recipe not volcanoing I'll definitely get this recipe and give it a try. Thank you very much!
Thanks a lot.. You always explain very well.. can you please share details of your frappe maker..i have lost the video where you talked about it.. Thankyou
I just looked at the reference class you talked about. It looks very through. So many topics to explore. Thanks for the info and pictures. I would like to try this liquid soap it does look like I need to read more about it.
Great and very informative video, Lisa, thank you ever so much. As I make liquid soap just for myself and I use it for everything, I don't bother with dilution and let it sit as a thick paste. It gets translucent with time, really beautiful. I will try to dilute it next time after your method 🙏❤️
Always love ❤️ your videos! Very informative and helpful…I would love to somehow repurpose CP soap scraps to make liquid soap. Is there a way to do this without a gloopy mess and also to withstand shelf life if selling??? I’m getting bored with the typical re-batching of scraps and need some advice…thank you and much love!! ❤️
What an awesome video. I loved how you talked through every single thing. I tried to make liquid soap with olive oil soap from a Persian store and it was horrible 😂😂😂😂 the quality of the bar soap was very weird to begin with and it dried the crap out of my hands. I ended up giving away the bars of soap and just using the failed liquid soap mixture to wash a few loads of my dogs bedding 😂😂😂😂
This is cool! I’ve never seen people make liquid soap before. I will say if it were me making it, then that volcanic reaction would happen because I’m clumsy. Have you ever made liquid soap the other way?
Thank you for this! My hang up for liquid soap is the when/if/can I use additives like extracts and milk. Does the .pdf go over this? Interested in purchasing. Thanks!
Great video. Are these oils the same blend as your cold process soaps? Pls i u don’t mind sharing why u added sodium hydroxide to your potassium hydroxide?
I put the glycerin in with my oils, I left them heat up together. I have watched a number of videos where the person heat up the glycerin before they add the lye and it just never worked for me. It is so much easier to add the glycerin to the oils and dissolve the lye in water or aloe juice. Salt water solution is the cheapest way to thicken liquid soap. It is not 100% accurate with every recipe or fragrance oil. A soap that has no coconut oil in it sickens nicely with the salt water solution but some fragrances will completely thin it out. You can go from a nice thick soap to pure water texture. Even worse is when the salt water solution attaches to the fragrance oil and soap and then separates from the water. I’m still trying to figure out how to prevent that from happening. I was wondering if that book talked anything about that.
Hi Lisa. Why do you say pH can not be tested in CP? I always dilute 1% and test it like that. Am I doing something wrong? Do you all know something that I don’t? Help :(
Have you ever tried the no paste method from Jackie Thompson’s book on LS soap making, using potassium carbonate in the dilution water? If so how would you compare it to this 30 min method? Btw love your videos and you have the loveliest voice ever 😊 -Nadja from Montreal Canada 🇨🇦
I don't think she can as she got the recipe from someone who does sell the recipe in an ebook, listed above. I think you would enjoy the purchase of the book though.
Hahahaha hi hi u Hu has a great story about the life and death of the man he is today and his life and the way he was treated and loved and loved and cared about by his people in his 😊🐰😊🐰🐰🐰🐰
@IDreamInSoap i think people say this because what you are saying is technical to soap making. I, on the other hand, could follow along easily. I've been making soap for a couple years and thinking of starting to make liquid soap. Your video is very helpful. Thank you. ❤

The biggest problem there is the time it would take.
I even had to stop my Patreon through lack of time. :-(

I might try my hand at this one day. When I have a bit of time to play. 😊
You should!
Can you do a video on how you do the labels? I think your packaging is absolutely gorgeous.
Soooo interesting. Thank you for your video-very informative!!
Happy to help. ;-)

Wonderful!
How much water do you use in the dilution step??
Interesting video.
Do you distill your own water?
Sure do!
Would love if you could show how you distil your water 😊
Hi teacher can you stir it if you don't have the blender?
Yes, you can use a wisk but, it's a ton of arm work and time. You will have to break that soap up so it can melt.
Great video, easy to follow, thanks so much!
;-)
Interesting that soap can be made like this. Enjoyed watching the video :)
Thanks for visiting

Which preservative did you choose?
What a fantastic product. I would like to see how it sudsy it turned out 😊
Thank you so much @lindarichey4689, that's very kind of you.
Because its a liquid do you need to add a preservative?
Awesome video!

Hi Lisa good to see your latest video!!
Hey, thanks

So generous. 😊

Can you use oxides, or would those settle too?

I’ve been wanting to try HEC (hydroxyethylcellulose) to thicken liquid soap, don’t know if it works better than salt
You can warm up your glycerin in the microwave b4 adding it to the lye water , hope that helps 😘
Hi Lisa. Why do you say pH can not be tested in CP? I always dilute 1% and test it like that. Am I doing something wrong? Do you all know something that I don’t? Help :(
She said PH cannot be tested accurately right after the Cold Process soap is made. We wait a few more days and then we can do the PH test
Can I use normal pot, because I'm thinking of making soap in Africa

How to make transparent soap
Would you post the amounts of ingredients in a comment,.please , absolutely 💯 awesome video!
I don't think she can as she got the recipe from someone who does sell the recipe in an ebook, listed above. I think you would enjoy the purchase of the book though.
