I have this book! I bought it at a garage sale for 25 cents at the preschool of my parish, still shrink wrapped. I use it every Sunday when I watch the Mass with my dad and use the daily prayers in the back every day.
It’s nice to know these books can still be used even though the dates have passed. I am still in RCIA my priest wanted me to “take my time” and not rush but I’m ready to join!! I’m reading about the early church fathers right now.
All I ask is that you take good care of them, CC. They were Christmas gifts from my late mom. I think she would be happy that they are getting some loving use.
I don't attend the Pauline Rite often but prefer the Midwest Theological Supply Daily Roman Missal. Has everything Latin/English and reminds me overall of my Baronius TLM missal. Very trad for a Pauline missal and overall better than the other ones I've seen.
My sister uses the the Midwest one. I remember looking through it and liking it a lot. If I can get her to lend it to me. I will definitely do a review
“For the catholic book publishing company, this is better art than usual” 🤣 so true, low low bar though This is my Sunday mass companion but I haven’t actually dove into a lot of the features besides the Sunday readings. Also, this is, I think, the only novus ordo Sunday missile you can actually find? At least that’s still in print. Maybe there’s some obscure ones but when I was looking to get one initially, I actually wanted to avoid this due to being from CBPC but it was pretty much the only choice. It’s proven to be very very solid anyway though. Funny you mention “inside of the door” in the car because that’s precisely where mine resides

That’s great! God bless!
I have this missal. I enjoy using it every Sunday for mass.

The Church fathers are great! I will continue to pray for your journey to the Church

May God rest her soul! Thanks again

I think there maybe a St Pauls Sunday Missal. Not 100% sure
you mentioned shortly after the 3 minute mark that we're in year C, but for 2023 we're in year A.

The edition I have is old. Not sure it will be the same in a new one.
