Beautiful plants and your garden is looking great. Your kitty reminds me of mine, Baby Boy. He loves to be in my videos especially if I’m doing a plant or yard sale haul in the driveway and he loves on everything. Enjoy your weekend. Love and blessings 💛💚💛

I was really hard on them this year. Next year I will use seed starting mix, let them grow indoors under grow lights until last frost, and garden them off for about 5 days before planting. That's what I did last year and they did great!! This year was experimental and it failed! 🤣

It so serene back there! My amaryllis are so far behind yours. It is crazy that our flower could perform so differently!

Thank you!! It really is crazy how we're not too far away and yet our plants are in different stages!

I am also dealing with the rolly Poly bugs!!! Second year fighting with them . I live In northern Texas and they are horrible in my gardens.

Glad I'm not the only one! I've heard you can try diatomaceous earth or Sluggo. They do help break down organic matter and aerate the garden, but they are still hungry for baby leaves too!

Don’t give up on the hibiscus yet. It is a late bloomer.

Thanks Kayla! We will see! I dug it up and placed it in a pot. I'm continuing to water it, but so far nothin'. I have two other hardy hibiscus that came alive quite a while ago and are bushy already. Perhaps this one is even later than the rest.

Summerific hibiscus are the last thing that come back from winters. I'm in Dallas area and they come back around June, so I'll recommend not take it out till July 4th to give it a complete chance.
Asfor butterfly weed, they are aphid magnet for a reason. The whole point is to put it in corner of your flowerbed so they can attract aphida away from all your other plants. Don't put ladybirdson it, just move it to a corner of your flowerbeds, so the rest of your plants thrive.

Thank you so much Mark!! This is great advice!! Very helpful. 😊 I did take the Summerific Hibiscus out right after I filmed ithis tour, but I potted it up just in case it was still alive. I'll keep hoping!

Thanks Jean! I have two other Hardy Hibiscus that are well leafed out now, but I do still hope it will revive.
