Just wanted to let you know, I took your recommendation for balloon flower and planted one in my front bed and I love it!! Those blooms are so beautiful. I’ll be adding more! ❤
Braid your daffodil leaves and pin to ground with a paper clip between other plants. Leaves can still feed roots . Everything is lovely. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you for sharing this tip! I actually just learned about this and I did that with my daffodil leaves in the backyard as an experiment! The front I left alone *just in case* it compromised next year's blooms! 😂 This is a great tip!
Hi my dear friend thanks so much for another great garden video. You always come up with some beautiful things to share. Always love stopping by and checking out your beautiful garden tour all the time beautifully done hugs and kisses from grandma Sandy and Debbie.
Thank you so much!! You are so right, I am very lucky to have such a supportive hubby! He and I really compliment each other so well, he absolutely LOVES his green lush grass and putting in the effort to make it beautiful, and I absolutely LOVE beautiful gardens and putting in the effort to make them and keep them beautiful! Together we are a great pair.
All of your blooms look so healthy and gorgeous! Beautiful tour,,.your nails are so cute too! Did you grow the Sweet William from seed? I would love to get my hands on some of that. I have never seen it in the stores!
Thank you so much Dawn! I did grow my Sweet William from seed, it's Double Mix Sweet William from Botanical Gardens. However, I just saw mature Sweet William for purchase for the first time I can remember today, at D&L Farm and Home in Aubrey! So it's there if you'd like to head over and buy it. 😉
Hi Shannon. Your garden is coming along so beautifully. I have a question. We just had our backyard sodded with the Palisades Zoysia. How high does your husband set the mower when he cuts it? We decided on the Palisades after seeing it in your yard. Tell hubby great job…and you too!!’
Oh thank you so much! I'm so glad you decided on Palisades Zoysia for your yard, you're gonna LOVE it!! Let me ask him what setting he has the lawn mower on. He is out of the country at the moment on business but I do want to do a video with him soon on how he cares for the Zoysia, so stay tuned and subscribe! 😉 I'll comment here regarding the lawn mower setting!
Yes, I sowed mine last year, too. They are biennial, so the first year they grow and the next year they bloom! Then I believe they die. 😢 However I've sown more this year so that those can flower next year!

I find myself talking to the wildlife as well, it’s nice when they let us be part of their world for a moment. And I love your gomphrena wreath
Whew I'm glad I'm not the only one that talks to wildlife! 🤣 Thank you so much Marlene!! ❤️

How long did it take your sweet Williams to flower? I sowed mine last year and it is not until this year that they start to flower.
