- 2 cups sifted confectioner's sugar
- 1 cup sifted almond meal flour
- 3 eggs
- 3 drops of green gel food dye
- 3 drops of red gel food dye
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- strawberry jam
- cream cheese frosting

Krizi This made me laugh so much when I played cooking mama as a child
wait. Is that what she says? IS THAT ACTUALLY WHAT SHE SAYS? I ALWAYS THOUGHT IT WAS SOMETHIHG IN JAPANESE

Gametim has had a stomach ache lately, he’s been in a lot of pain and he’s been feeling sick so he goes to the doctor like any normal guy to get it checked out. The doc listens to what tim has to say and starts to feel around on his belly where he said it hurts. Much to the docs surprise there’s something hard inside Tim’s abdomen and tim cries out in pain every time he touches it. Fearing it could be an obstructed bowl or worse the doctor orders some x-rays be taken. When reviewing the results of the x-ray the doc notices a strange almost flat rectangle situated amongst Tim’s organs. Alarmed the doctor says “I think we’ve found the problem but none of us have any idea what this is.” Tim, curious and scared that whatever’s causing him pain can’t be identified by the doctors asks to see the x-ray. He takes a look at the plastic sheet showing the greyish outline of his innards and recognizes the iconic shapes it’s a Nintendo DS! The doctor notices the fact Tim recognizes it and asks “do you have any idea?” Tim looks at the doctor with a wry grin “It’s cooking mama!” He exclaims before doubling over in pain and being wheeled off into an emergency surgery

As someone who makes macarons pretty often themself, I was internally screaming when the game had you whisk the dry ingredients into the meringue instead of folding them. Luckily it didn’t seem to have a huge effect on yours, Tim. :p

They are very sweet, but if you like that kinda thing you'd love it! I'm more of a savory gal.
Go out and get yourself some, Wilfred! They're pretty darn good! The texture, sweetness, and overall taste really depends on the brand you buy. Though there's no reason to get the most expensive ones out there, don't cheat yourself by getting the cheapest ones either.

A lot of folks in here have made a great point: I never mentioned letting the piped batter sit for about a half hour. The tops of the uncooked halves need to harden a bit before baking!

Haleigh Champion, i mean in my experience when i made them. They weren't that hard. They would have been fine if i didnt keep opening the oven😅 they were still good for my first attempt though
Kenzi Girl245 Easy is subjective depending on your standards for the finished product and your experience level. If you know the basics of baking and you are in the practice of following directions with extreme care, it's definitely easier to complete.. I'm still going with difficult because getting the shape, color, flavor, height, and texture to be just right can be quite a challenge. A lot goes into a high quality macaron.

Here's something Mama doesn't tell you: there's an easier way to separate eggs. All you have to do is crack the eggs into the bowl like normal, and then with your prewashed hands you just gently scoop out the yolks. It's less complicated than trying to flip the yolk back and forth in the shell.

I always played cooking mom's when I was 4, 5, 6 and I had plastic food and kitchen. Now since I'm older (14) I love to cook (real food/dinner and all)
The two benefits of doing this series is that it gives you chances to cook/bake food that normally you may or may not want to do and also, you get to learn new things about cooking as you film the video. This series is so good.

She spelled it correctly, or at least from what I got from google
It's spelled correctly, it mostly has to do with the pronunciation of someone from Japan since they call them Macrons due to I believe it has to do with their writing system as they do not have characters in their alphabet to get the double "o's", but do have characters for "MA" as for "ca" the c would be replaced with "k" as c is no where part of the writing system.(ma-ca-ro-n) (I would go more into detail but this comment is just getting ridiculously long.. but hopefully I helped in answering the question?)
