I keep Elvis’s cage open all day with a perch near the window with his favorite seed. The only food I leave in his cage are fresh veggie chop and pellets. This was enough to get him to come out of the cage once in a while. Keep trying, it is so worth it. Thank you for subscribing!

He is so sweet, he doesn’t bite either. I don’t think a budgie would get along with the cats though!
Even I think he is cute. He only weighs 1.4 oz (40 grams) and seems to be quite fragile both physically and emotionally.
That's great progress, my budgies still refuse to come out of the cage, after almost a month. And won't sit on my hand unless there is millet.
