Dotto, brilliant as always. Insightful and practical. Was already sort of using Boomerang and Rapportive. Time to turn them on. And the big file one: great for finding files (have enough storage, but may not in a year or so.
For find big mail, you can create an "attachment" label and create a filter so that all messages with attachments are labeled attachment. There are also options for attachment file size greater than xx, to achive to same function as FindBigMail
I have become a huge fan. We definitely have a love for Evernote in common. One of your tutorials on the application is how I found your channel and I am so glad that I did.

FindBigMail, awesome tip, I've always wanted to sort all my attachments by size. I've been using Gmail since inception and really need to clean out old attachments. This is a great tip!
Boomerang is great. I also like to use it for sending emails as well. Let's say you are thinking about something you want to tell your client over the weekend, but you don't want to suggest to them that you are working on the weekend. Instead of having to remember to write the email on Monday morning, write it now, and have boomerang send it on Monday morning instead.
Use this in gmail search, no plugin needed: larger:20mb before:2016-01-01 Will search for mail larger than 20mb and before Jan 1st 2016. Change size and date as needed. "larger:" and "before:" (also "after:") can be used independently or in any combination. Thinking about boomerang, but I'm wondering how much data they mine from your gigs of emails and sell to other companies...google does enough of that as it is..

Hey dottotech, I'm not sure if you've found this out already since this video is from 2014, but I, too, don't like when they add extra labels so I use opt to 'HIDE THE LABEL' using the little drop-down arrow next to the menu item's name. This way, the label is still there when I need it but isn't visible. Hope that helps! =)
You can go to the chrome menu-->tools-->create shortcut when you are in the Gmail website. Then you will have a shortcut in your desktop for your Gmail!
I also find this video usefull, in particular Boomerang that I installed at once. But having used it for some days, I wondered, is this legal? I mean, Boomerang gather so much information about the recipient and gives so much insight that it makes me think that Boomerang is too efficient. (Legal also depends under which legislation you are). What do you think?

That's not true. Before they can send you the size report, you have to give authorization to "View and modify" all your emails. If this isn't a security issue... Then you live in Disney World!

Hey Robert Montani Jr. I have never had an app ask to permanently delete my email, so that would clause me great concern. I think the Rapportive tools are to allow for the integration into your sidebar (e create a new e-mail to contact) so I am not as concerned thigh those permissions. the thing to remember is any time we ask a piece of tech to do something for us, we are trusting it and giving it access, so I am glad you are researching!
You might want to update your findings on rapportive. For instance the 'Raplets' section is no longer on their site. The 'Notes' option doesn't appear for me either. Overall the plugin looks great in your video, but so far I'd give it a "meh" in practice, so maybe they have changed, and for the worse?
Sorry this is a silly question, but how does one add these extensions in Gmail? I've been looking for an option but can't seem to find one. Also, is there a place to go to browse all the add ons available (like how Firefox has)?

I like the "Mailto: for Gmail" extension for Chrome. When you click on a mail link on a site it will open in Gmail instead of trying to open Outlook.

Some of the add ons will work in the other browsers, you have to search on a case by case basis.
