Axial RBX10 RYFT Speed Test (3s/4s) - (Link End Issue)

- With the (hopefully) reinforced axel we ran a Top Speed test with the Axial RBX10 Ryft using 3s and an attempt at 4s.
We did find another small issue with the link ends slipping off the ball joints. something to pay attention to.
We still love the Car 😁.

RC sparks did a video on duel rear shocks on his Rift. It really settled it down on hard acceleration and made torque twist almost nonexistent. I'm going to try this with my 1/18 to get rid of insane torque twist .

Hey Thanks for video, Axial link end SUCK, every time I have a spill with my Capra and my mate's ones, we have to put them back in. Traxxas TRX4 link end are a LOT better but they are a little longer and they fit.
Yup. links pop off to the side. guess some hard rubber bushings at the sides could fix it for the moment. Or Revo ballends and links. For speed runs add a set of dampers at the rear, and better turn AVC back to just a little bit. the weak servo saver will make avc go haywire, desperately trying to compensate and keep the wheels straight. Something the guys at RCCrawler.com discovered.
kind of a stupid question, it's like 37 mph or kph? am I suppose to guess from a video that it's purpose is to measure speed what is the speed?

Kinda a noob at repairing rc's. I broke my front bottom links and for the life of me can't figure out how to take them off the chassis. A comment, or maybe a vid would help. Thanks👍

Ok Alex you ready? So, look at the chassis and where the links attach there should be a tiny hole on the side with a small hex screw inside. Unscrew those and it'll release the link joints. If you're still having issues we can give you a link to our Facebook Group so we can show you the procedure. 😁 Hope this helps.

🤣 it was pure visual. Was going to take a wide turn and I timed it wrong. It's why we put it as the opening scene. We always try to show honest driving even if it's poor at times.
