He's got such amazing control over his voice that only comes from years of practice and study. He's doing things in this video that the top singers in the world would struggle with and he's making it look effortless. In addition to that he's singing in a foreign language, that he does not speak, and doing it better than some native speakers. The word genius gets thrown around a lot these days but there really isn't another that adequately describes the depth of this mans' talent.
Rock music...Me too. I love Metallica!!! But DIMASH has opened up a other door into the world of music for me. I'm hooked. What a fantastic voice. What a fantastic performance of Adagio. This young man could sing a lullaby and I'd love it. BRAVO DIMASH 💙

The composer is the Italian Tommaso Albinoni (early 18th century), whose "Adagio, G minor, is generally viewed as the best music ever written. The Italian musical tern 'adagio' (slow or slowly) has become personified in this song. Dimash's performance is masterful, the way all his singing is. I think Lara Fabian is from Belgium. Adagio is Dimash's powerful and strong performance and he won first place in this episode but ( 7). This is the first song I heard him sing when he was a guest at the Slavik Bazaar after he won the previous year's competition. I believe it was 2016, the year before he competed in 2017 The Singer. He was named then the best voice in the world and made me curious how great of a singer he was. I was looking for his other performances until I heard him competed @ The Singer 2017 in China. I became a fan since then. He was wearing a suit with his native country's color. Beautiful color. Thank you for your reaction.

I have to admit that my toes start to curl up when anyone says anything remotely critical of him, and I think this holds true for "Dears" around the world, but it's only right that you have more and less favorite parts of Dimash's performances. You're doing a lot to promote him, just by doing the reactions. He's going to do a concert in NY on Dec. 10. Although I live in NY State, I won't be able to attend. Yet I think this concert will make him more available in all of the U.S., and that's what matters to me. That is, I want to see his fame grow, and his message of learning to love each other better, to be kind and to eschew hatefulness. I've noticed that people who love the music, soon come to love the man. If you watch videos of him and his friends and family at home, you see that he has a very sweet nature, so good to his parents and siblings. Babies in that household, when getting rocked to sleep by Dimash, seem to love his rather rousing "lullabies." There are other singers in the family (dad is music composer, producer and director; Mom is a very popular opera singer) and most of the friends who either live there or drop by, are going about practicing, several songs going on at the same time. And a very loving, supportive group, they are. Again, thanks for your delightful reactions.
The blue is the colour of the Kazakhstan flag. Not my favourite either but I think he made the choice as a reminder of or to bring home to the stage. Though at his height and slim physique he can wear anything and make it look good. Great reaction as always. I really like his version of The song. Dimash just has a way of reworking songs that still pays respect to the original but allows him to be the artist he is. I also like that he often blends eastern/western influences in a song making them more globally relevant as well.

He definitely can do loud, but he is also great at pianissimo. In Autumn Strong he does some fantastic and really delicate high notes. That should be your next reaction to Dimash, I think, as a contrast to this one. Yup, that's the thing with Dimash: you can listen to him sing 5 songs and still not realize how much he's capable of and just how much talent he really has.
