I travel all over North East and Central Scotland their seems to be a lack of all birds in the fields stubble or on rape, I was beginning to wonder myself if Bird Flu has taken its toll, I know the Scottish East Coast Seabird population has taken a hammering the figure quoted was 40%.down. The Scottish Rabbit situation is even worse only small pockets left in Central Scotland exist now, nearly all wiped out by disease.
I am out regularly but the fact is.. .I will only make 1-take videos with no edits or cuts. So it's a tough job doing it shooting. And there's sooo many TH-camrs doing that. More power to them. But I really want to guide, and instruct and dispel a few rumours along the way. Sat at my kitchen table or workbench will have to suffice many times
Totally agree Matt, not see a great deal of woodies or magpies up here in Stoke and its usually teaming being so close to the Staffordshire moorlands
Sorry it took so long to reply. It's May now and I'm still not seeing as many!! But the Corvids.. man.. they're everywhere!!!!
