This sold me on it. The humour and the quick tech advice on how to use the pedal was great! Obviously nobody expects a recording guitar pedal to be studio quality. Innovation and fun in songwriting is what matters. Thank you for this. :)
Thanks for the video - it made me realize that it's too much for me to use. I'm just not understanding it enough and this is the best video I've seen on it so far..
Try reading the manual. For stuff like this that's usually the best way to decide if it does what you want/need and see how things work. I have this one and I don't think it's too complicated once you understand what the lights are telling you.
I'm pretty sure You don't mind about that anymore BUT There are at least two reasons to make loop and beat work out of sync: 1) Just to choose between drum patterns to check if any of those fits with some idea You already have in mind and You are gonna play along without recording it 2) to record a tune without drums, i.e. a soundscape played with a very present delay :-)
Fantastic video…super informative AND entertaining. Would love to hear about how you connected the various inputs so that you could use them all in real time. Going through a mixer? Some sort of AB pedal?
Be cause of you and watching 100 other videos... now im gonna buy this... and ill not watch another looper video before i got it ;-) First time looper... whats not to like
Hello, thank you very much for the video, it helped me a lot in the decision to buy the RC-10R. Just a question: Does it have an option to put effects like Reverb and Delay on the instrument that you connect directly to it? Is it possible to put a complete song of about 4 minutes inside it to use during the Show?
Hey Trey, how's it going? I have an RC-10 and am having trouble using it on my Mac. I've downloaded the Boss Software, but I can't understand it. Have you ever tried hooking yours up to your computer?
Got his. It’s good but why didn’t they let you program in how many bars even my Zoom ON-1 guitar effects pedal has a looper that you can set the number of bars. Also slow down and speed up does not really work On hack if you want unlimited parts instead of two is to use the next song for your song and just twist the dial to the next song while playing and use that.
Do you know if you can erase a loop without it being audible? Example: you record a loop live but make a mistake and want to try again but dont want audience to hear it being played back for few seconds while it erases
Hi Gear God's , I have a question about the number of fills you get with the grooves does it give different transition fills when switching between patterns, thanks for response.
My question is can I import a .wav drum track, save it, record 3 layers over it and export those individual layers to PC? Or will all layers end up as one file?
What happens to/for those of us who like write bridges in our songs? Seems like 3 choices per song would be better than just 2....certainly you didn't make this pedal but that was my question this whole time. Love this video. You are rad.
How come bands don’t use these more live. Say when there is a lead line that builds with a harmony part? Instead of the other guitarist dropping the rhythm part
im told its massive problem is you have to set the tempo,,earlyer models the drums came in into the tempo you played in,,thats not a good thing ...see he has to have the drums going 1st,,unlike other machines
A lot of people complain about the rythm function without reading the manual. The drum can be set to trigger in a variety of ways. Most of the functions on this pedal have a lot of customization options. www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&url=static.roland.com/assets/media/pdf/RC-10R_parameter_eng01_W.pdf&ved=2ahUKEwjPm5XmpKDrAhUGyFkKHf-FCtcQFjAGegQIBBAB&usg=AOvVaw3vKvgmaQgrEDqQIwOBKsF3
you cheated! You didn't change patterns to pattern 2 on the fly. so it was a 1 part song. And changing patterns is the hardest thing to master on these units.
I always use my looper, since I haven't had anyone to play along with since the 70s

Best product review I’ve ever seen. Brilliant 😂
funniest review of this pedal xD

R&B metal beats made me laugh, thanks 🤣
I caught the B-52s “Love Shack” reference.
Seriously, "Little Black Tiny Raincloud" is badass ! The RC-10R is a fun pedal. Nice job
wow that was groovy

That song was awesome!
Thank you for the class!
Killer! Loved it lol!

Dude that was really good! Pleasantly surprised. Loved it!!

Aweome!👏👏
Great vid dude 👍 I’ll buy this model soon I think. My question is : when a backing track is imported, can we record over it ? Thanks. Best regards 🙏
🤣🤣😂🤣.. this was absolutely fantastic! Possibly pushed me to get one
Haha this was great, didn't know you had a funky blues side in you!
You're the next Weird Al and you don't even know it. Fun video
That was cool..good stuff
Can I import drum loops and complete songs from an older drum machine Yamaha RX 8?!
can you used other genre for the ptn2 rhythm? or its just the same genre for 1 and 2 part of rhythm?
good stuff man
Nice hat
Can u PLEASE make a whole Song out of that '1994-Alt-Rock-Thing'?
I love 90s grunge alt rock so nice
My delay has a built in loop function. It isn’t the best but I only use it as a tool to test out ideas in my room so it works.
Be cause of you and watching 100 other videos... now im gonna buy this... and ill not watch another looper video before i got it ;-) First time looper... whats not to like

Didn't know you had a very decent singing voice
Girl girl girl giiiiirl.GIRL.
I liked that one a lot
When is parade?
Do you know if you can erase a loop without it being audible? Example: you record a loop live but make a mistake and want to try again but dont want audience to hear it being played back for few seconds while it erases
I just got RC-10R
Hi Gear God's , I have a question about the number of fills you get with the grooves does it give different transition fills when switching between patterns, thanks for response.
Can you have a guitar and your bass hooked to this pedal?
You could theoretically connect any two instruments that use .25" cables. I use a shitty electric violin sometimes.
Can you load midi files on it?
guys i couldn't understand his twitch name. what is it??
sorry it's treyxavierwrites
Dude release these tunes on aan album the lyrics are truth!
My question is can I import a .wav drum track, save it, record 3 layers over it and export those individual layers to PC? Or will all layers end up as one file?
tether ball nuts
I forgot how good your voice is. New In Virtue coming when?
Thanks dawg, very soon!
Fun

lol great!
I liked the punk song ! 😂
kinda liked the "Girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl, girl" song.
Yea. About 3 minutes in i had to move on....
...and again you inspired others to write new song
im sorry but that thumbnail is super blursed
How come bands don’t use these more live. Say when there is a lead line that builds with a harmony part? Instead of the other guitarist dropping the rhythm part
I'm pretty sure Tosin has one on his pedal board, other than that not sure of who else uses one live.
YourLordMaui just seems like a good option for that scenario. I have never seen it utilised at a major show
J. Mascis uses them. I saw him live a few years ago solo and he used a looper, no backing tracks and no other instruments. It was pretty impressive.
lol

Nah, there is nothing special in using synths. Making a song out of using the looper only, that's what requires skills.
