Which is your favourite piece of race track?
Fast corners ❤❤❤
My favourite turn in f1 is the last chicane in barcelona 😊
That long straight in Mount Panorama.
Autodromo di Monza 😎
I'd tell the truth and say it's the run from La Source through to the right flick on the Kemmel Straight, but everyone loves that piece of track so I'll instead go with the run along the waterfront in Monaco in Formula E. You have the history, the glamour, the beautiful Mediterranean Sea, and because of the smaller cars, you get quite a few moments of genuinely good racing.
Great video, but you forgot the longest one of all time: The runway from the Fast and the Furious
Since when is that a real life race track?
What people think is a race track when they compare top speeds (useless)

@@Communistthurso i like you. You are a very cool person that made my day so much more wholesome. Thank you for your he- nah get lost who asked l bozo ratio clown
Prewar version of the AVUS:
Hold my beer
The Autobahn Circuit lol
You forgot the Shanghai International Circuit back straight
I forgot to include the clip😅
And Avus straights
You should have only counted flat out sections for most race cars. Some of them can only be taken flat in F1 cars so it doesnt really make sense
Yeah Suzukas back straight ends at 130r imo
@@vtec5862 yeah and Eau rouge is also not flat for a lot of cars
The fast Baku chicane can't even always be taken flatout in F1.
and then, Tertre Rouge would probably be flatout in a modern F1, so that straigth would be longer.
can you make a banned race car race 2 laps?
Race car race 💀💀💀🤡🤡
Racist car race 💀💀💀🤡🤡
Little correction for the road atlanta section: this straight is between corners 7 and 10a.
I love long straights in tracks, so this video is for me.
Same, is awesome to see the cars getting pushed to their limits
Hope you liked it!
Some classic ones:
* Hockenheimring, Kurve 1 - Ostkurve: 3,04 km.
* Spa-Franchorchamps, Virage Malmédy - Stavelot (old sharp town corner): 4,17km.
* Circuit de La Sarthe, Hunadiéres (Tertre Rouge - Virage de Mulsanne): 5,73 km
* Targa Florio, Buonfornello: 7,95 km (with definition "straight" section possible to go full gas).
Either driven, walked or run all sections myself, though 20-40 years ago by now.
Also Avus Berlin, aprox 4km
Thank you so much!!
MASTA WAS FLAT?
Why didn't we get to see AVUS in this, or the Le Mans without chicane layout like you did with Paul Ricard 😢
Because they’re no longer used, while Paul Ricard is still used for some series without the chicane
They will be in the historic version!
Great Video.
You forgot Mulsanne straight without chicanes
Did you miss the part where he said "current" they don't race without the chicanes anymore
Can we get a historic version of this please
Yes! I'd love to see Avus, LeMans and some more.
@@orvilleeduardosantosperez6133 Conrod Straight at Bathurst.
Absolutely, that's the plan!! ;)
Can I ask where you got that amr valkyrie mod?
Sure! www.assettoworld.com/car/aston-martin-valkyrie-amr-pro-2022
@@THEWINDTUNNEL Thanks g
Hi ! Dijon Prenois have a straight of 1.2 kms and you can flat out in the last corner. I wonder the length of this
Special Route X joined the chat😂
(Ik is not a real track)
Where's Mountain Straight? (1.1km: Mt Panorama Circuit)
I picked the longest straigh from each track if not tracks like Le Mans would have 5 straights here
@@THEWINDTUNNEL Fair enough!
Alternative title: 8:12 of pure V12 sound
What about the old Hockenheim circuit? The one with those long straightaways.
Why does the Valkyrie make a clicking noise when shifting to odd gears?
erm called the Nordschliefe up there but where was Shanghai?
That's Max Verstappen driving the Valkyrie
bro really thinks eau rouge and radillon r straights (m not harrassing u, just for the joke)
Would defo watch a Valkyrie full flat out on the Hunaudieres w/out chicanes or on Pescara
Why was RoadAm's second longest straight used?
Valkyrie amr pro vs different eras of F1
Fastest lap
Turns 147-150 😂😂😂
Why the inside view I can barely see
avreste dovuto inserire anche la Malesia, e il Sarthe intero 6k
Nice video.
But I don't see the Mugello straight, which is 1.1 km. F1 raced there in 2020, and it hosts other competitions as well.
mugello🤔
Just getting eargasm straight for 8 minutes
Love the NA V12 sound
The digital display on the steering wheel belong to the hennessey venom f5 in the game
Le mans on endurance layout?
With chicanes *is* the current endurance layout.
Where is Le Mans no chicane
It's for the vintage edition!
wheres the hanoi circuit?
No one knows lol
the front straight at road america is longer (1.3km)
Istanbul back straight missing
the fastest straight is circuit de la sarthe with 373 km/h
despite the longer straights of the circuits after it, they are still slower probably because of road quality.
Because cars aren’t set up for top speed - other circuits have more time to be gained cornering than on the straights. “Road quality” will not affect top speed unless you’re off-roading.
Ever heard of the Pescara Circuit? 2 long ass straights broken up with a 90° bend and a hilly 3rd section... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pescara_Circuit
Yes! Crazy track, definitely including it in the historic version, thank you!
0:01 “current”. As Pescara closed in 1961, how is it current?
Mulsanne without chicanes
Not a “current” layout that’s in use.
Now try Avus.
I think the Nordschleife have other big flat-out sections bigger than 1km. Road America too (main straith and after the carousel). Miami, Bahrain, India, China, Buriram and Mugello too I think.
And le mans too has at least 4
Picked one from each track. There's a 2nd part!
But why road course on daytona? And try sarthe but without chicane
Only used current road courses
And what about sarthe no chicanes?
@@JoyManoppoNot currently used because FIA safety regulations. At least since the early 90's
The last corner of Portimão is not flat out?
It's Barcelona
A straight does not contain a corner.
Hence the quotation marks on the title. Not straights per se, but flat out sections.
Hockenheim...
isnt le mans straight 6 kilometers?
Depends
There are no current race classes that I know of that use the layout without chicanes due to safety concerns, so no, it isn't (anymore).
fia set the max length of straights to 2 km (the Döttinger Höhe at the green hell) hence the installation of the 2 schicanes
Qatar has a long straight, surely more than 1km
No
@@dimitrisath13 What NO? the main straight has a length of 1,068 km
Why not used the tri oval layout for daytona?
Because it’s not a “normal” track and also most of it is a corner
where is qatar
