This is so fucking infuriating man wtf Microsoft? I hate Windows more than ever because W11 suddenly stopped showing thumbnails for all my media files. I wasn't even doing anything like installing media player apps, just doing my work and browsing. Fresh install of Windows 11 on my client, and this shit keeps happening. Oh my god.
My videos are from a the latest Google Pixel 8 phone. I am on a new Lenovo desktop running Windows 11. Why the heck do I have to install slightly suspicious software from BabelSoft to handle the videos from my phone?!?

If you need a third-party plugin to fix a corrupted file system on windows, you are completely wrong. And these app are malicious software. Be careful.

I have been having trouble with only icons showing form March 2022 & following your video has corrected this issue. I can now see all Thumbnails instead of icons. Cant thank you enough

A solution I had was to just update the media player via Microsoft store.

The babelsoft program didn't load my Sony video file codecs. I could see my SD card folder thumbnails refresh, but nothing new was showing.
