  • A compilation of the bosses in Faerie Afterlight (and its one chase sequence) defeated without taking damage and both endings to the game. When the manifestations of Light and Dark are fighting things out it's up to a dark blob and a light fairy to glue the light goddess back together and show light and dark can coexist to rough everyone up.
This is one of those kind of games that has sat on my backlog for a while. It's not very long (probably 6 hours to 100%), easy to get into, and makes for a good intro Metroidvania. Also quite colorful and a fun ride. Hitboxes can be kind of deceiving or uncertain for contact damage and personally Kradyrev was a bit annoying when he does the homing spikes move 3-4 times in a row.

Nice! Some of the bosses looked a little easy, but the final boss looked super cool! Artwork is nice too

The hardest part is finding the right positioning to avoid contact damage.

@@CrankyTemplar I didn't realize that contact damage was a threat lol. I guess if you've never played the game you wouldn't realize that is an issue. Especially if you are watching a hitless video.

That escape sequence seems cool, I only wish it moved a little faster so you can actually see it behind you.

Yeah, you can keep ahead of it pretty easily. If you do take damage (either from it reaching you or hitting a hazard) your respawn point will have it adjust to be close.
