- The Buchla Easel Command (208C) has an option of a USB Host. You can even buy a bundle with the Sensel Morph and legendary Thunder overlay. But how do you use it?
This video covers basic patching techniques on the Easel Command, focusing on using the gestures from the Morph to control the sound. Without getting too far in the weeds, you can learn how to get some really complex sounds and controls with just a few patch cords. Buchla made an amazing instrument - now it's your turn to make amazing music!

Idk if I'm just dumb but how have you connected this? Can you use the command without a computer once its been programmed? Is it rechargeable or something? I don't see a power input.
Is it possible to program the morph thunder overlay to arpeggiate through a series of held notes? If so, the morph would out do a lot more than what the Buchla 218's original keyboard was capable of.
Agree that would be cool! There is no arpeggiator on the Morph, though.
Good tutorial. Realistically, I will never have a Music Easel or any other Buchla. Ah well...
