Have a look around you, ask a street sweeper what caste he belongs to and why he's doing what he's doing. Ever heard of manual scavenging? The "untouchables" are forced to clean human excreta because of their caste. Ever heard of students completing their PhDs but still working as daily wage labourers because of their caste? It's the worst in villages. The people who think casteism isn't relevant today and it's just a thing of the past, are the people who mostly belong to the upper caste. It's rightly said that casteism is invisible to the upper caste.

and STILL people argue to remove caste-based Reservations for Untouchables in Govt. Jobs, etc. in 2021. Even though we have to work extra hard, at least these all kids & people could dream that one day, their situations can get much better on a Humanitarian basis. My friend got rejected by her boyfriend's family because she is from lower cast . Working as a clerk in a bank , educated , well mannered , beautiful ,
kind , but still got rejected . Now she is in depression , boy didn't said a single word to his parents in defence n married to other girl of his cast .
While he was dating my friend , the cast was never an issue , he said he will handle n he does not believe in this shit . 🙄😏😔

N I saw multiples rows for having food n each row at a distance first I thought its just for safety n to prevent from crowding but later I got to know , these were the different sitting arrangements made for upper cast n lower cast . Usme bhi upper cast wale uper ki taraf n lower cast wale bilkul

It's disheartening to see how dalits has been treated but I would suggest quint to also cover Dalits present in other religions too which is even worse, recently I got to know abt Pashmanda's condition in Muslim community unfortunately nobody covers their story ironically they cover 90% of Indian muslim population, hopefully one day people will look beyond cast and religion 😇

After tolerating exploitation for centuries, they are still quite, shy of revolting, shy of non-cooperation. I wonder why there's no poverty riots ever happened in India with the largest class/caste getting exploited/abused everyday for centuries. Making films, documentary will not make the privileged empathetic towards them, there will be 'otherisation' as it is today.Revolt is the only answer, the 'Dalits' are the majority in population,why not a total non-cooperation with the system.
That wont work, the system is so corrupt that uapa, tada will be used against them. Please dont suggest such things to the innocent. This is a fight which can be fought only under the direction of Babasaheb...ie., Educate Organise Agitate!!! And it should be adopted by every person from oppressed community. Watching this in 2023 and all I can say is that we general caste Hindus need to do a lot to eradicate casteism and discrimination within our religion. A common refrain by caste apologists is that OBCs do maximum harassment of Dalits. In that case why don't people from other castes stop them and fight against the oppresors. We need to do better.
