I admire Teyana Taylor so much. Her vulnerability, her professionalism, her attitude on life, her kind and loving heart, her humbleness, and man I really gotta admire the way she articulate her words, she really think before she speaks. This is I why love her, I could go on and on to speak so highly of this GREAT woman but she’s really amazing and I’m so glad God put her on this earth.

It’s hard not to like Teyana, her energy is super genuine.
I told myself for a long time that Teyana is in the wrong era. It shocked me to hear her actually say it out loud lol. Felt like my mind had been read. She would be huge in the 90s. Her talent, attitude and aurora would fit that era like a glove.

@bigjayking24 i completely understand how hard it is to be independent, HOWEVER with the demand she currently has and multiple revenue streams that she has it would be a completely different experience than the first time around.
She made the statement that she didn’t care about the labels making that money they’re making a year. It was a disappointing to hear her say that being in the situation that she’s in with her label. & question, is it truly hard to be independent? It seems like it’s harder to become mainstream only.

It's so interesting because I resonate so much with Teyana, as a fellow December 10th birthday baby like her. We are natural traditionalists and enjoy work, our labor of love. Teyana's naturally has executive abilities, and though she enjoys performing and great at her craft in the spotlight, she prefers work of satisfaction. In the world of Human Design (which is Astrology on steroids), she's a Projector. It's important for her to continue staying engulfed in her passion & what she's truly interested in, because eventually she will be recognized & invited to be her natural self with no forcing it, and she succeeds. Teyana's signature in Human Design is to succeed. Her "not-self" is bitterness. When she's not honored, respected, or recognized correctly, she gets bitter... and her body consciousness is giving her that bitterness to tell her "Hey, something isn't right, so correct it." And the way she eloquently goes about correcting it is being hella mature, grown, adult and WOMAN about it. She takes accountability for what she has allowed to happen in her life instead of brooding, then turning those experiences into lessons and work on being positive with strong intentions. As a Projector, it's important for her to be respected by folks who see and understand her vision. She's a very wise young woman.
