As a Nigerian, I used to suffer from crippling anxiety because I was once a perfectionist. I had to be very prepared because I couldn't imagine failing. We grow up with that voice behind our heads that we just can't be or do average. But here, you're allowed to fall and get up and redirect yourself which is good.
LORD this interview had me in tears, she is me! Not Nigerian, but definitely always keeping busy and associated my work with my worth. Thanks for letting me see me in you girl!

Started watching this until you guys started talking about things in the book. I'm on chapter 4 so I'll have to come back to this interview. But I have to say, I'm loving the book so far. This was so fun to watch!! I love Yvonne and how all of them just flowed with the conversation😊 and I can definitely definitely see Yvonne with her own talk show! I'm sad and excited about this last season but I love that the cast are all getting into new projects and growing like the theme of this season.

Maybe it's because I'm from NY, but I've seen Angela Yee walking before and didn't want to disturb her. These are real people with real lives, people seriously need to check themselves.
I completely agree. People will run up to celebrities and touch them and really demand a picture or video . A person has the right to say yes or no. I just ask for it to be a respectful no.
I don't think that was the lady's problem though. She said respected Yvonne's no. The problem was chastising the woman publicly for accepting the no and Yvonne's boundaries. Yvonne blasting her for that was confusing and unnecessary.

Very fascinating - I remember running into a celebrity in a healthcare setting and although I did talk to them (I quietly told them I was a fan of their work), I did NOT ask for a photo or anything because it seemed super inappropriate at the moment. Awareness is super important.
I really REALLY enjoyed this interview. Her personality was so FABULOUS!! I'm ashamed to say I've never watched Insure (no cable, just basic channels) but I'm feeling the need to order HBO for the month just to beng watch all the seasons just based on this interview 😁

In regards to relationships, you start off with 100% and it's up to you if that trust diminishes. I don't have time to be playin trust games with you and testing you to see if I can trust you. I did all that evaluating when we were in the "getting to know each other phase". When I decide to be exclusive with someone, you already got the trust. Your actions during the relationship will determine if that trust level remains at 100%.
