I found you via Ladies Who Lunch years ago. I even wrote in a couple times and y'all read my submissions in 2 episodes which made me fan girl so hard! Looking back, your advice was so sound and helped me get through a difficult friendship breakup. Love seeing your update and relating to your mid-30s experience. I just turned 35 and came to a lot of those same realizations about kids as well. I worked through it in therapy last year and I often feel more pressure to decide since I've been married for almost 10 years so people assume kids are the "next step." We're happy DINKs (or DINKWACs, lol) and appreciate I have freedom to choose (or change my mind if I want to). 30s are definitely better for me than my 20s, emotionally. Still a forever YT subscriber, but now I can pay for YT premium, haha! Wishing you all the best.

Its really nice to hear from you! Was a massive fan of you back in the day (i mean i still am lol) but it was really nice to hear about what you have to say about your job. I’m currently starting a new job on Monday and it’s far from the original goal I had placed for myself. I just graduated as a film student and it’s been such a hard time finding a job in that sort of platform so now I’m doing something different to make a living for myself and my fiancé. Growing up is tough and realizing that money is more important than entirely trying to find a job in the arts. And even with living in LA! It’s expensive here!

I’m 30 and I really resonated with you in this video. I feel like I’m at a point where I’m confident knowing I don’t want to be pregnant / birth a child, but I wouldn’t mind a family if that meant I was a step mom. I’m happy being single and I’m living my life exactly how I want to. I also thought your take on friendships was very important. And because of that, I want to make it a personal goal for myself to work on my friendships. I’ve been subscribed to you for a long time and this was a refreshing video to watch

It has been a long while! So much so that I even watched your last video from two years ago just yesterday for the first time, its been that long. I've always been a lurker when it came to watching your videos and only commented a few times, so why not just say hi now! I feel my life has definitely changed in the last 5 years, now being in my mid-30s as well. I quit my job (the only steady job I've ever had) in 2019 because I wanted a challenge. Unfortunately, that new job didn't work out. Then Covid happened (best excuse for 2020 job hunters) and throughout 2019-2020, I've been trying to figure out what I wanted to do and what I wanted out of life in general. I've since had 3 different jobs in the last 3 years (First job; got let go after 4 days. No joke. Second job; temp job that got me my confidence back and an idea of what I wanted to do. Third job; wanted the job because of the money, mostly, but the job was not what I thought it would be). I'm about to start a new job in a few days and though I am excited, I am still very nervous. The last 5 years have been shaky and unstable for me, so doubt, anxiousness and uncertainty have been in the back of my mind since 2019, but throughout this period of my life, has been a lot of introspection, trial and error and a determination to make my life better. I don't know if this job is THE one, but I'll have to see for myself. I just have to remember that I can only do my best and that's more than enough. Good to see you again. See you in a few years ;)
I only started following you right as you were exiting TH-cam but I love the random videos. It’s like catching up with an old friend. You’re just a few years older than me and everything you say gives me hope for the future.

So good to see you back! Love this video - it really does feel like I'm catching up with an old friend! This is the year I turn 30 and I'm trying to figure out what I want from life in my 30s. I'm hoping the next couple of years I can really start to explore feeling happy with myself and my asexuality and (as yet undiagnosed) autism/adhd. Life is difficult but hopefully this is my time to figure it all out!!

I love this new era for Taylor Swift! I think these past two years are really her year too and it's so comforting to see her live her best life and to see her with a partner who makes her genuinely happy and understands her
firstly I just wanted to say that I'm really proud to see how far you have come throughout the years and to see you be confident in who you are after everything you have gone through has always inspired me to be and do better
by all means i wouldn't call myself a content creator but online i find comfort in helping others but have lacked a lot of motivation recently so you putting that into words made me realize just how common this issue is and I don't feel less alone about it, thank you

You are a lot better than me. At 37 years old I have always felt that I am not married yet or have kids because I am too ugly for anyone to wanna marry or have kids with me because I do wanna get married and have kids one day. Probably stems from girls telling me that I was ugly when I was growing up. But, hearing someone who is a beautiful person, like you talk about their decision to not get married or have kids sorta makes me feel a little better.
Ok I will say - I still definitely want to get married one day if it ends up working out, but I'm also okay being alone for now :) ! But the kids thing I know I'm not into. Hang in there and try to find happiness in other areas and I'm sorry girls were so rude to you!

I've been watching about 600 TH-cam videos a month since 2007, so I'm over 100,000 different videos watched now, many of them at least twice. My parents are gone now and my brother is a Trumper whom I can't trust anymore. I'm broke but not much different than the past several decades. Coming from watching all TV shows to watching mostly online fare was a huge shift and I'm glad I got to watch the ground floor opportunities fly by, but I wasn't eligible to participate for profit, and I'm still not. Cancel culture reigns on social media and it's just too brutal out there for those on the wrong side of it.
