My wife and I ate at the imperial palace buffet after a long day at a very large trade show years ago. I’ve been to the linq but never even knew there was a casino there. The digital art looks amazing. Interesting to see.

Once again, a wonderfully excellent video....both the videoing and the narration were first class! The very first time that I was ever in Vegas, I stayed at the old Imperial Palace. I didn't know much about the casinos or anything else back then in the city, but I'm a car guy, and the Car Museum at the Imperial was one of the reasons that I went to Vegas in the first place. I miss that place even today. Thanks again for the memories and updates. Since In and Out has opened there, I have always wanted to visit, because like White Castle, there aren't any north of the border, but the lines have always been horrendous. Thanks again.

Hash House A Go Go is an excellent restaurant to go to for breakfast or lunch. The portions are enormous and filling like your pancakes. I look forward to more of your adventures.

great video as always. one small correction though. the linq isn't the only hotel with bunkbeds. the flamingo actually has bunkbed rooms as well and they are great. I ate at Hash House when i was out there in February and what i recommend is getting it to go and going to sit near the 2nd entrance to the linq from the promenade and people watching as you eat.
Yes we have learned that from some of you, about the bunk beds at Flamingo - thank you for that information. That to-go suggestion is great, because I too love to combine eating and people watching!

Imp palace was my first hotel on my virgin trip back in early 2000s will never forget that trip i have eaten at hash house and everything u said is spot on paula food coma comes to mind... stay safe U2

Great vlog, as usual. There used to be a Hash House A Go Go in Chicago but it closed; I think it was during the pandemic. Ate at the Linq one once and the portions were huge. Didn't it used to be open 24/7? Glad you enjoyed it!
Yes, lots of places that used to be 24/7 are not right now - but I think as the crowds return and the demand is there (plus, enough staff to cover it), the hours will expand.
Thanks for another nice video. We stayed at the Link several years ago and did not enjoy our stay. We just did not like the overall flow of the hotel and we were too close to that party pool.We did enjoy the promenade and Hash House a Go Go!
The biggest problem with Vegas, way too many great places to eat. Whenever I go, I spend 3-4 days there. I don't go to gamble, but to eat, lol. My last trip included that ribcap at Oscars. This next trip coming up will have Ri Ra (bangers and mash), Cornish Pasty (toffee pudding), Lemon Grass (Chilean sea bass), and Nacho Daddy for their margarita, haha. Btw, this was an excellent video.
Great video. Love Hash House a Go Go. And my wife and I honeymooned at the Imperial Palace as well back in 2005, so we have a soft spot for that place as well. The Linq is beautiful, but it doesn’t have the same personality as the IP did.
The Linq sure is an upgrade from the good ole Imperial Palace. Thanks for giving us a tour of the place as well as the Promenade. It sure is a refreshing feeling to see more and more places opened up. Hopefully the trend continues. Hash House is THE place to go for brekky and your report did it justice. That is one of the places on my bucket list and hopefully I can make it happen the next time I go to Vegas. Your photography was top notch once again and kudos to you both for a wonderful production. Dale .... staring at computer screens in the dark is not good for the eyes, buddy. Get a soft glow light if nothing else to assist you in your edits. Great video as always and thanks for pointing out some things I either didn't see or that were not there when I visited The Linq Promenade in 2019. I'm surprised Hash House A Go-Go does not open earlier, say 7 am, for breakfast. From Dale's description in the opening, it sounds like you two are starting to getting busy to the point you will start needing "people."
I've been to Hash House A Go Go but I can't remember where. Now I did live in Summerlin, NV so it is very possible that is the one I went to. Good food indeed.
Yes, it is good food, and the website says there is a Summerlin location but it wasn't clear if it was open post-pandemic or not; so we didn't mention it.

Ooooo, love that suit when you were younger. What a sharp lookin' dude. I bet the suit was corduroy! The vests were still in. I still have a brown suit from that era. Looking to do some retro 😁😎 I've been a fan of hash house a go go since it first opened on Sahara near Rainbow. Now to the Imperial Palace and its great auto collection. I hated to see the collection go. And, in the front, they would have someone there giving you a freebie, like a drink, a hot dog, or a freebie to the auto collection to get you in. Those WERE the days!

Paula and Dale: my wife and I ate at the Coronado Cafe at the South Point on Friday afternoon on July 2. Just as our food arrived, I looked over toward the entrance and I was sure I spotted you two as you were exiting the cafe. Was I Right?
Since Hash House is so iconic, I've always wanted to try it. Because of the crazy waits and the fact that they don't take reservations, it'll probably never happen for me. Or maybe I'd have to try one of the off-strip locations. And an extra $1 for whipped cream?? Sheesh. Nice video and looks like you had a good time! You always make the promenade look so fun, and as a So Cal resident it was interesting to learn that it was inspired by The Grove.
Yes, I actually did not know that myself, til I researched it to do the script. I love the Promenade. And yes, if you have a car or an Uber, go to the standalone Hash House on West Sahara - you won't have the crazy wait.

Yep! We have reservations for late July - stay tuned. Everybody was doing the grand opening, but we wanted to let it settle a bit before we did a stay.
I spend roughly a full day on transferring all the video and photos, arranging them into project folders, and writing a script for Dale. Then he spends 3 solid days on voiceover, editing, music, etc. Often there is one more day for tweaking and polishing, adding some special things. So, 4-5 days of work for one vlog.
Hey guys, I was told today that the water levels are in serious condition at the lake. Do you worry? And, that during their stay the staff were nasty because they did not know who was inoculated from those that were not. what do you find? Love your videos!
Thank you Kathleen, for watching us. :) Yes, we do worry about the water - we have worried about it all the time we have lived here, and as the town keeps growing and growing, you surely hope the water authority has a plan. We did not stay at the Linq, so I can't speak for whether the staff is nasty there, but boy we have NOT encountered anyone who was surly or unwelcoming because of the inoculation. What we are seeing is that they are so happy to be back to normal, and have the tourists back! I will say this: I think everywhere is understaffed, because so many workers left town or made other arrangements during all these extended closures, and they can't hire enough people to cover.
As a person who has kept dual residence for the last 31 years between here in Vegas, and New York City-I must say that the many bloggers who specialize in Vegas culture do a fabulous job. By the way I loved going upstairs in the Imperial Palace to see the classic cars, and next door at O’Shea’s the midget in the front of the casino. By the way Hash a Go-Go is my favorite Breakfast place-(The Cracked Egg is second)

You guys really make me want to spend a year in Vegas! 🤣 My list of stuff to do there is so long now and this is definitely one of my favourite episodes you've done to date. Absolutely terrified, but I'd try that zipline in a heartbeat! Looks so different from doing it in a woods location like most are. As a non-drinker and non-gambler (yes I'm quite boring), it's great to see Vegas has a lot of innocent, family friendly fun around too! I think people who are naive or less educated assume that Vegas is just mobsters and gambling. You guys consistently prove that's not the case. That flapjack... Oh lordy!!! That's worth the $1,000+ plane ticket for me! 🤣 Much love from Australia! ❤ Btw, Dale's dark room editing is working wonders!

We really appreciate all facets of Las Vegas (including the mobsters and gambling lol), but it is our intent to show you ALL there is here to see and do, and always throw in a little history when we can. Now about spending a year - well, Australia is far away, so once you make the trip, plan to stay a long time. :)

Great video! The new tallest Ferris wheel is in Dubai! Right next to Caesars blue waters which is the first Caesars non casino. Pretty cool! Can you check out the rio one day?
Hmmm well no. Had an extremely dry year so far. They are right next to Lake Mead, though, so I am thinking they have streams and such in their mountain habitat.
Hi Jodi! Actually, that sweater-jacket is by a designer named Bob Timberlake, and I got it at the big Bass Pro Shops by the Silverton, right after they first opened. They had a bunch of women's clothes by that brand, and it was so beautiful I had to buy it - I think it was around $140.
Yes, I do...I invented this early breakfast idea, so that we could get interesting content on a weekday, without taking time off, and it seems to have caught on. :)

I've been to Hash House A Go Go but I can't remember where. Now I did live in Summerlin, NV so it is very possible that is the one I went to. Good food indeed.
Yes, it is good food, and the website says there is a Summerlin location but it wasn't clear if it was open post-pandemic or not; so we didn't mention it.

Now to the Imperial Palace and its great auto collection. I hated to see the collection go. And, in the front, they would have someone there giving you a freebie, like a drink, a hot dog, or a freebie to the auto collection to get you in. Those WERE the days!

Paula and Dale: my wife and I ate at the Coronado Cafe at the South Point on Friday afternoon on July 2. Just as our food arrived, I looked over toward the entrance and I was sure I spotted you two as you were exiting the cafe. Was I Right?
No, we haven't been in the South Point recently at all, so it wasn't us.

Since Hash House is so iconic, I've always wanted to try it. Because of the crazy waits and the fact that they don't take reservations, it'll probably never happen for me. Or maybe I'd have to try one of the off-strip locations. And an extra $1 for whipped cream?? Sheesh. Nice video and looks like you had a good time! You always make the promenade look so fun, and as a So Cal resident it was interesting to learn that it was inspired by The Grove.
Yes, I actually did not know that myself, til I researched it to do the script. I love the Promenade. And yes, if you have a car or an Uber, go to the standalone Hash House on West Sahara - you won't have the crazy wait.

Yep! We have reservations for late July - stay tuned. Everybody was doing the grand opening, but we wanted to let it settle a bit before we did a stay.

I spend roughly a full day on transferring all the video and photos, arranging them into project folders, and writing a script for Dale. Then he spends 3 solid days on voiceover, editing, music, etc. Often there is one more day for tweaking and polishing, adding some special things. So, 4-5 days of work for one vlog.

Hey guys, I was told today that the water levels are in serious condition at the lake. Do you worry? And, that during their stay the staff were nasty because they did not know who was inoculated from those that were not. what do you find? Love your videos!
Thank you Kathleen, for watching us. :) Yes, we do worry about the water - we have worried about it all the time we have lived here, and as the town keeps growing and growing, you surely hope the water authority has a plan.
We did not stay at the Linq, so I can't speak for whether the staff is nasty there, but boy we have NOT encountered anyone who was surly or unwelcoming because of the inoculation. What we are seeing is that they are so happy to be back to normal, and have the tourists back! I will say this: I think everywhere is understaffed, because so many workers left town or made other arrangements during all these extended closures, and they can't hire enough people to cover.
As always great video. I'll buy you a Bud Light if you ride the zip line Dale.

As a person who has kept dual residence for the last 31 years between here in Vegas, and New York City-I must say that the many bloggers who specialize in Vegas culture do a fabulous job. By the way I loved going upstairs in the Imperial Palace to see the classic cars, and next door at O’Shea’s the midget in the front of the casino. By the way Hash a Go-Go is my favorite Breakfast place-(The Cracked Egg is second)

Absolutely terrified, but I'd try that zipline in a heartbeat! Looks so different from doing it in a woods location like most are.
As a non-drinker and non-gambler (yes I'm quite boring), it's great to see Vegas has a lot of innocent, family friendly fun around too! I think people who are naive or less educated assume that Vegas is just mobsters and gambling. You guys consistently prove that's not the case.

Great video! The new tallest Ferris wheel is in Dubai! Right next to Caesars blue waters which is the first Caesars non casino. Pretty cool! Can you check out the rio one day?

Hmmm well no. Had an extremely dry year so far. They are right next to Lake Mead, though, so I am thinking they have streams and such in their mountain habitat.

Hi Jodi! Actually, that sweater-jacket is by a designer named Bob Timberlake, and I got it at the big Bass Pro Shops by the Silverton, right after they first opened. They had a bunch of women's clothes by that brand, and it was so beautiful I had to buy it - I think it was around $140.
