My mom liked a certain machine at Foxwoods casino in Connecticut and I could not find it anywhere on the strip. Walking through red rock I found the machine put 100 bucks in and hit a jackpot hand pay . She was with me that day. Great Vlog thanks
We agree - especially when you toss in Downtown Summerlin, which is just steps away. You'd never need a car for anything, and you could have a fabulous vacation.

Last May when I was in Vegas I went for a hike near Red Rock Canyon and passed the Red Rock Casino on my way out. Thought I definitely needed to stop there on the way back. I did and it may be the nicest property in Vegas! I thought it was absolutely beautiful. Didn't see everything that you showed on your video so I'll have to take it again when I come back. I might even stay there. Could be a nice change from Fremont Street. Summerlin shopping area being close by is another bonus. Thanks so much for showing this property and giving me more good ideas on what to do in Vegas next time I visit. Love what you do, guys.
Hello Bob - let us heartily recommend a stay at Red Rock, and in Summerlin, for a change of pace from downtown. It's a totally different side of Las Vegas, and one we really love. PS - hope you saw Dale's comment yesterday, about Paula's Kitchen?

I think this is one of your best videos yet. I was there 2006 right after they first opened I love the Red Rock. But you still haven't told me where I can get one of those shirts like Dale was wearing
I stayed at the Red Rock many years ago. A hidden gem of the Las Vegas area casinos. I didn't get to bowl at the bowling alley due to time restraints but did see a movie in the Regal cinemas 16. To give you an idea of how long ago that was I saw the Green Hornet on one of those screens. It is great to have the option of doing some bowling or watching a movie when you are not in gambling mode. So glad you covered the Red Rock Resort Casino and Spa and is a nice change from the ones on the strip. I don't see many videos that explore the Red Rock. Dale could definitely have a career as a voice over professional. Thanks for showing us around the Red Rock. Seeing Paula enjoying her breakfast made me so hungry I need to go and try to find one as delicious as that one looked at the Lucky Penny. That is the exact breakfast I would have ordered especially the crispy bacon.
We are SO glad you agree with us on the appeal of Red Rock - all the things you mention are pluses in our book too. People could have a terrific relaxing and enjoyable vacation at this resort, and never have to go any further than Downtown Summerlin next door.

Every time we go to Vegas ( 1 or 2 times a year) we try to do something we have not done yet. Red Rock was a place we planned to visit in 2020 ( did not get there that year..) And in 2021 when we went to Vegas, we did not get there. It is on our 2022 list for sure for a day trip. We have watched lots of reviews and videos over the last couple of years, but you guys took the cake as usual. Outstanding tour and review Dale and Paula!!

Red Rock Canyon is a very special place to us, always has been - there is something very peaceful and majestic about it. There are a number of well marked hikes, you will love it.
Another awesome video. We visited there years ago - and did a quick tour after hitting the casino tour. An amazing property! Red Rock should take this video and play it for their quests in their rooms.
That place has changed so much from when I worked there! Proud to say I was working the property while they were building it. Awesome location and the brothers really knew what they were doing when they built this property. I worked for them for 6 years and have nothing bad to say. Great company. Moved on and now have been at my current locals spot for the past 9 years. Still so cool to see that the brothers are loving that flagship property. Thank you for the video and God bless!

The Fertitta brothers really do treat their employees right and that translates to the employees being happy at work and treating the customers properly. A great company to work for and several great properties in the line up. However The Rock just seems like home. Again a very nice video and I encourage all of your subscribers to come visit us. We appreciate you, a lot. :) We would love to offer aprons but...our regular supplier doesn't do them, we have to order from another company that is not set up for selling direct to our community like Teespring is. They are pricey, and once we pay the postage to send them to you, we'd have to charge about $30 to break even. We don't want to do that...
Great video as always, and the place looks amazing. Thanks for profiling places that are not located on The Strip or downtown. It's easy to forget there is more than just those two places in the Las Vegas area, and for people who have been downtown or to The Strip many times, a stay at Red Rock Resort could be a nice change.
We agree, which is why we thought we'd show it to you - with the proximity of Downtown Summerlin, the LV Ballpark, the City National Arena, and Red Rock Canyon minutes away, you could have a fantastic vacation and never go near the Strip or Downtown.
My family and i stayed out there a few years back. We loved it. The hotel is beautiful. Clean well kept rooms and the SPA and pool were fantastic. Great work on this episode! :)

Yes, definitely. Station Casinos in general is consider the locals' casino brand - the Santa Fe, the Aliante, the Red Rock, the Sunset Station, the Green Valley Ranch, all appeal to locals.

Because I haven't been able to travel to Vegas since March 2020 I have kind of lost touch with your channel but this reminded me how great it is! Dale is actually sounding younger than I remember, must be the good living :). Somebody told me that Red Rock is not too far from Downtown Summerlin where you can walk around the shopping district and visit locals bars and restaurants - would you need a car to get there from the hotel?
Thank you so much for the kind compliments - and yes, it's that good living lol! Red Rock is literally at the "front" of Downtown Summerlin. You just walk out the back door of the casino, cross the parking lot, and you are there.
@@paulamckenzie Thanks Paula, I have been to Vegas from the UK more than a dozen times and never made it out there because I thought it was in the middle of nowhere! It looks like a more upscale version of The M Resort in Henderson which is another property that tourists don't usually get around to visiting but is really nice.
@@Veaseify I think what Red Rock has, over the M, is location. M is really far from everything, whereas RR is at the heart of Downtown Summerlin, City National Arena, LV Ballpark, and minutes from the canyon as well. 😊

No, we haven't heard anything about what would replace the buffets. Red Rock has always been kind of a classy, pricey option, ever since they built it, so I don't think that's new. But it seems you're right - with the failure to reopen the Fiestas, or the Texas, it seems like Stations is putting their money into their higher-end properties, and foregoing the delicious two-for-one locals deals on the buffets and all the other inexpensive perks we were used to. It's our loss, that's for sure!

Beautiful place. Your breakfast looks delicious and not too pricey like some of the places on the strip. I watched this while drinking coffee out of my new Las Vegas Inside and out mug! Loved the new merchandise. But we need Paula’s kitchen aprons 😁

We would love to offer aprons but...our regular supplier doesn't do them, we have to order from another company that is not set up for selling direct to our community like Teespring is. They are pricey, and once we pay the postage to send them to you, we'd have to charge about $30 to break even. We don't want to do that...

Great video as always, and the place looks amazing. Thanks for profiling places that are not located on The Strip or downtown. It's easy to forget there is more than just those two places in the Las Vegas area, and for people who have been downtown or to The Strip many times, a stay at Red Rock Resort could be a nice change.
We agree, which is why we thought we'd show it to you - with the proximity of Downtown Summerlin, the LV Ballpark, the City National Arena, and Red Rock Canyon minutes away, you could have a fantastic vacation and never go near the Strip or Downtown.
My family and i stayed out there a few years back. We loved it. The hotel is beautiful. Clean well kept rooms and the SPA and pool were fantastic. Great work on this episode! :)

YES! And when life gets complicated or aggravating, all we have to do is go down to the Strip, or catch a sunrise in Summerlin, to remind ourselves why life is great in Las Vegas!

We stayed there New Years Eve 2019-2020! We loved it! One of the best off strip hotels in Vegas!

Yes, definitely. Station Casinos in general is consider the locals' casino brand - the Santa Fe, the Aliante, the Red Rock, the Sunset Station, the Green Valley Ranch, all appeal to locals.

This place looks cool. The prices seem reasonable and they’ve food from around the world.
The outside venues are beautiful, as nice or nicer than places on the strip.
Because I haven't been able to travel to Vegas since March 2020 I have kind of lost touch with your channel but this reminded me how great it is! Dale is actually sounding younger than I remember, must be the good living :). Somebody told me that Red Rock is not too far from Downtown Summerlin where you can walk around the shopping district and visit locals bars and restaurants - would you need a car to get there from the hotel?

Red Rock is literally at the "front" of Downtown Summerlin. You just walk out the back door of the casino, cross the parking lot, and you are there.
@@paulamckenzie Thanks Paula, I have been to Vegas from the UK more than a dozen times and never made it out there because I thought it was in the middle of nowhere! It looks like a more upscale version of The M Resort in Henderson which is another property that tourists don't usually get around to visiting but is really nice.
@@Veaseify I think what Red Rock has, over the M, is location. M is really far from everything, whereas RR is at the heart of Downtown Summerlin, City National Arena, LV Ballpark, and minutes from the canyon as well. 😊

We love staying at the RR. I wish they had more hotel promos. If they did, we would stay there over the Strip anytime.
Yep, I think it offers a more laid-back resort style vacation there, without the crazy busy-ness of the Strip. More serene, but SO much to do!

No, we haven't heard anything about what would replace the buffets. Red Rock has always been kind of a classy, pricey option, ever since they built it, so I don't think that's new. But it seems you're right - with the failure to reopen the Fiestas, or the Texas, it seems like Stations is putting their money into their higher-end properties, and foregoing the delicious two-for-one locals deals on the buffets and all the other inexpensive perks we were used to. It's our loss, that's for sure!

I play hockey tournaments every year at the Knights practice rink next door. Always wanted to stay there while I was in-town but either booked or rates are pricey.
