Awesome! I've never had the chance to travel with Frecciargento, Frecciarossa or Italo Train. The best train that i took was the Frecciabianca, and it wasn't bad at all.
Thanks , I had not considered the livery blocking the view . A main feature of this journey is the view through the mountains , I am changing my ticket to Business .
Have traveled many times in Executive Class (pre-pandemic) Milano/ Firenze/Roma and return. Always top notch and with wonderful at your seat meal service (pre-pandemic). Is it cheap? NO! But as my Virtuoso Travel Agent once quipped to me … “If you don’t travel first class today, your heirs will tomorrow!” Luxury, ease of travel, service comes with a price tag. I value those services. 😉👍🏻
I was fortunate enough to travel on Frecciarossa Executive class with my family from Milan (what a great station) to Venice, then onto Bologna & then Rome & finally returning to Milan - what a train journey back in pre-COVID 2019. I fully agree about the windows - why have them partially blocked when you are paying a premium price? However, that is my only complaint - the seats & the food service were both excellent - I had gnocchi with red wine followed by an espresso coffee brought to my seat on my trip from Venice to Bologna & again from Rome to Milan, plus various refreshments along the way. Why fly when you can travel at such high speeds & arrive & depart in the center of the city? Further, being in Executive Class(isn't it the best what to travel on any train?) you get full access to the exclusive lounges at the major stations (relaxing seating, clean restrooms & free refreshments whilst waiting to board your train). Bravo Trenitalia you have set the benchmark, in my opinion, for train travel in Europe.
I sounds like i have to try Executive class one more time under normal circumstances. :) And I agree, an amazing way to travel through Europe! Thanks a lot for your comment!
Related to the usb security....you can get an usb Power cable that doesn't has the wires for data transfer. I would be more worried about that Hotspot portal though. Nice trip :)
I am trying to decide the benefit to a June journey. Executive, while lovely and spacious, seems a bit off without food service and those awful window wraps. When the traveling Paris to Milan is there a preferred side of the train for views?
Well, I agree. It's a bit off without the food but ask Trenitalia if it's back in service. Regarding preferred side. From Paris to Lyon it doesn't matter. In Lyon the train changes direction. Before arriving Chambéry there is a beautiful lake, you are traveling on the east side of it. In the Alps I would recommend the other side to get the best views. Did it get any easier? 😁 Well. I think my seat whas a good solution.
The food service is back in France and Italy. I took the Trenitalia Frecciarossa in Executive class at the end of March and had a wonderful meal in Italian and French territory.
Yes, in my blog article. Not in this video. At the time of the video you could get the whole trip for as low as EUR 30. Fell free to reed here: www.dryden.se/2022/03/frecciarossa-1000-executive-class/
@@BigCityCBGs It probably depends on the season and day of the week. Have only traveled with Frecciarossa once. That time I booked a week before departure.
I have to say, this video is a month old and he was served both breakfast and lunch in executive class. so I'm not sure about the French rule of no food on the train... th-cam.com/video/eqLcSVqp8as/w-d-xo.html
My husband and I took this train on 15/09/22. We were really looking forward to this experience but it was so disappointing! The lounge at Milano Centrale is just a waiting room with free coffee. Maybe some crisps if you are lucky. Our seats had no power so we couldn’t charge our phones and the staff were confused as to if anyone was going to use any empty seats at any point during our journey to Paris. The service on the train was friendly but not attentive at all. There were 6 of us in the executive class and one person serving us. Considering it is a 6 hour journey I would expect her to come and check on us every 30 minutes. We had a small starter with some prosecco and then it was difficult to find anyone serving there. I had a chicken breast with some mashed potates but the food is microwaved so the quality is quite poor. I wouldn’t do it again. I spent the same amount of money on a Eurostar standard premier ticket and even though the food is mainly cold options it has more flavour, the service is much better and the overall experience much more pleasant. It was OK but don’t expect anything amazing.
because the high-speed train between Milan and Verona is still under construction, so the Frecciarossa trains currently still travel on the traditional line.

Thanks again!

Thanks! Absolutely right about the cable, they exist and can be used with a clear conscience. :)
Im watching. 🇮🇹💚
That's great! :)
Hello my friend! I know this beautiful train station in Milan.
Cool!
Hey! May I ask what you work with considering that you can travel so often, think it seems so nice. Have a nice day. Regards Camera
Well, a quite regular job at an office but I do spend my vacation days on these kind of things rather than being at home. 😉

@@sevs17 THANK YOU!!! I have been trying to find an answer to this question for like two hours.
@@sevs17 Follow up question -- was the terrible livery still covering the windows?
Sounds extremely noisy and looks a bit dirty all around the interior compared to the renovated X2000s?
I would say that the interior on the new X 2000 is the beat I’ve seen in the latest years. But Frecciarossa is much more quiet than X 2000.

hi do u need PCR text or only green pass to travel via train from Milan to Paris
As for this trip in February 2022 we needed the green pass. That might has changed, check before you book.

But no PCR.
Do trains travel on Sundays going to Paris? How far in advance should I buy a ticket?

Milan - Venice on Freciarossa 1000 average speed 132 km/h 😮
Why the same average speed of trains in 1922 ? 😮
1922?

It is a dirty train, both in the bathroom and in the business carriages, the cleaning service is provided only from Lyon to Paris...
Not in Italy? Unfortunately, I didn't see any of what you mention, so I can't comment. It could be about daily form etc
