As a parent I get it. I would have been livid if someone had put their hands on my child for any reason other than to save their lives. Allow the mother to mother her child and make those decisions. No, you just don't take it upon yourself to clean someone else's child hair.
Both the defendant and plaintiff are trips... Defendant sounds like she is a dictator of other ppl's do's and don't and the plaintiff seems like she's not much of a good parent (scattered)
I agree. Both litigants are over the top Yes, the defendant was wrong. But the mother was late and didn't notify the defendant Both sides blew the facts out of proportion.
Agree. I always remind myself not everyone thinks the same. I would never do anything without asking a child's parent of course while hoping they would do the same. Someone else might feel like it's no big deal and they're just helping out. Like you said the plaintiff should've just let her know in the future to consult her first. Lastly, I remember having head lice from it going around in school. My mom did treatments, mayonnaise, even cut my hair from waist length to shoulder length. I remember being mortified and screaming and crying when having my hair done. All kids do it. I think therapy is a bit far but I'm not a professional so I can't comment.
I would've have washed and checked too and the daughters hair. The mom is dramatic. Kids cry cause they don't like it. Oh well. Mom needs to say thank you😊
Agree. I've gone through the school head lice phase myself 20 years ago and now with my son who's 4. It's been hell. She should've consulted the parent first and the plaintiff should've simply said hey next time talk to me first. I agree both litigants are over dramatic. I'm not a professional but the therapy seems too far although everyone should have therapy.
@mariannemcgee6262 Apparently, you've never went to college and studied psychology. Otherwise, you'd know that the ages between 4 and 8 are paramount to a child's emotional and psychological development...including things such as their self-esteem. Therefore, there is an entire branch of clinical psychology called "child psychology" dedicated strictly for young children. I'm guessing the defendant also made negative comments about the little girl and/or her mother to justify why she was only washing her hair and not her own daughter's hair. The judge was absolutely correct to order weekly sessions to start. The psychologist and a psychiatrist (if needed) will later determine the frequency of the sessions and when they should end. But keep in mind, the girl has already had 6 weekly sessions and the psychologist felt more were needed. Had you been paying attention; you would have understood that the judge was literally following the advice of the psychologist to continue with sessions.
That defendant is a trip 🙄
Fah real, is she a karen? Or just the haircut?
That’s why I love judge Mablean, she’s strick and honest
The plaintiff has to get someone new to get her daughter. Because if she was in my house and I suspected that I would have.
She was totally wrong to touch the child's hair. She should have waited for the mother though the school made everything clear in the report.
Ffs Americans are court crazy for crap. How much money is spent on these RIDICULOUS cases.

The defendant is disgusting. She's the perfect example of a "snob" who thinks money gives her the right to play God over people less fortunate.
The judge is over the top judgemental in this case!! Seriously , therapy for a 6 year old weekly over head washing!
