The judge got both cases wrong. The first case. Judge got it wrong. Plaintiff found her relative selling his stuff on eBay. And defendent even said her relatives helped her move out. It's easy to see what happened here. Defendent could've called plaintiff or his daughter to also inform them she's getting foreclosed. But she didn't bother. Instead gave it away without his permission. Second case. The plaintiff got conned. But again this judge let the con artist get away with it.
First case. Plaintiff should've put his stuff in a storage unit. If je can rent a room, he can rent a storage unit. Plaintiff was being lazy and cheap.
His daughter could have had his things. Some people on this earth are sad and pitiful. The same way he took this lady to court he should have found a safe place for his items.
There are different problems I have with the first case and the defendant. If she had a car wreck and both times it was someone else’s fault then their insurance or yours is responsible to repair or replace the car.
I agree that the plaintiff should have read the dimensions of the chairs , that said $30 is a lot of money for a minuscule supposed “ cake topper “ decoration .. 🤔🪑🪑🪑

I would never give anyone my precious possessions to store in a garage. Any thing could have happened to them.

She never agreed to take care of his crap, after a year , it's junk. He was being lazy and cheap.
The chair episode is so familiar. This happened to me and it taught me to look at the dimensions.
I think Judge Mablean can be unreasonable.. Why didn't she just call him to collect the boxes??
He should've rented a storage unit or stored them in his daughter's house. No accountability on his part.
