I was literally just thinking this. I come back to this regularly and am always absolutely blown away. The man himself should be made to know of the existence of this tribute to his work. I feel like it would make him happy to see this tribute to his work plus Nobuo Uematsu is clearly a fan of prog rock so I think he would love this arrangement. God knows these guys deserve the recognition for the amount of talent, work and time that went into this video!

Everybody's chops are amazeballs. The arrangement is fluid. This is what music should be for this century, all encompassing melting pot of complementary sound.
The transition at 4:50 and the timing of the swell at 6:00 gave me literal chills down my spine. I have appreciation for all VGM covers and interpretations, but that was quite probably the most impressive sequence that fit with visuals I have ever seen. How you only have a 30k views is beyond me, this is easily million+ territory quality. I am strongly looking forward to your interpretation of VII and IV if you ever so get to those.

I think Fisherman's Horizon and Eyes on Me are the two strongest melodies in the OST so it made a lot of sense to do a medley of them. It turned out pretty amazing.

My favorite game of all time... This was one awesome tribute. I was looking forward to part 2 of this medley simply because I love this game so much, and the OST is one big reason why it is so important to me, after all. Thank you all for making this, I can't wait to dive in this game yet again, after doing so so many, many times before.

I need to thank everyone involved in this project for making it possible, this video has brought me so many memories whenever I see it, that I've cried with "Eyes on Me" with scenes of Laguna. Excellent work you all, congratulations for being such outstanding musicians.

Was here when it first came out. Was still in high school then. 7 years later and it still feels like I'm listening to this for the first time. That's how awesome this is.

Wow, I feel honored to even witness this. So much incredibley talented musicians all in one video, it simpley is too much to handle. I can't express how passionate I am for the music and FFVIII in general. This is a labour of obvious love for such a beautifully crafted video game and every single one of you should feel fucking proud for paying tribute to such excellence. Well done Marc, you've out done yourself once again!
I think Fisherman's Horizon and Eyes on Me are the two strongest melodies in the OST so it made a lot of sense to do a medley of them. It turned out pretty amazing.

En fait vous méritez mes deux premiers commentaires sur TH-cam ce qui prouve le fort impact de votre interprétation.

_Le travail des musiciens dans la recherche des instruments au plus proche de l’œuvre avec une interprétation riche, fidèle et puissante.
_Les chanteurs et chanteuses sont investis et rafraichissants.
_le travail en post production est magique avec une incrustation vidéo et audio millimétrées.
Sur ce merci encore de nous faire vivre des instants comme celui ci qui sont autant de grands moments pour vous j'en suis convaincu.

My favorite game of all time... This was one awesome tribute. I was looking forward to part 2 of this medley simply because I love this game so much, and the OST is one big reason why it is so important to me, after all.

I want to say thanks to all the people involved in this astonishing project. After 3 years I'm still listening to this medley, and in my opinion, the reason that makes it so special is that it adds a part of the emotional content to the original work of final fantasy. Every sensation that I felt during the game, I felt them here too. Greetings to all of you creatives, you matched perfectly the spirit of final fantasy viii.
Again, I can't express in words how incredibly awesome this is. From the extremely talented musicians to the absolutely perfect mixing job, and the video editing. The eyes On Me/Fisherman's Horizon part made me shed a tear (or two). Thank you very much to putting so much effort into this, and keep moving forward! I just bought both parts on iTunes, but watching the video is a whole different thing. Cheers!

Uematsu sama serait certainement fier si il pouvait les entendre.Tout y est parfait et franchement bravo à tous ces musiciens passionés pour ce boulot.
