Very beautiful. So beautiful! I look forward to purchasing your deck when it becomes available. (Hint: my favorite feeling cards are printed on a high end linen like paper😀😀😀)
Love your beautiful art! I think you mentioned once that you might include a guide book with expanded thoughts for each card? Since you are not making a tarot deck (good), but rather a card deck shaped vehicle for people to experience a stack of handheld images and inspiring quotes, it seems like putting the same image on the back of every card is a wasted opportunity. I wonder if the backs of the cards might be a good place for the expanded prompts and encouragements, while keeping the facing side simple, with just the image and brief line like you have it. But I’m sure whatever you end up doing will be delightful.

great question and congrats on being at that stage of your card journey. My artwork is quite abstract and most of it was photographs of originals that were 9x12" , 11x 14", 18x 12" - some larger and some smaller. So, in general, if you have a good iphone and get good photos (take before varnishing the work), size of the original doesn't matter, unless the composition is really off. For example, if you painted more realistic work, and the original of someone's face is a longer composition and you are putting into a square format for the card deck- it will make the person look quite different... not sure this is a great example- but you get the idea!
