@@martinwhite418 no she doesn't. she a pretend diver. not a commercial diver. she isn't a "diver" she's someone with a few tickets anyone can get by paying money. they are not real tickets they are recreational tickets. real tickets are ADAS part 1, 2, 3 and 4. LST (Life support technician), ALST (assistant life support technician). those are real dive tickets. and dave lockridge has all of them, or the HSE (UK) equivalent of those tickets. her tickets are for kids. anyone can walk off the street and get them, they are not real tickets, they are just a way that the recreational dive companys make money by offering these meaningless tickets to get money. she has no understanding of how work is done underwater. all she learnt how to do is put the gear on and press the buttons. iv worked in offshore oil and gas as a diver on saturation diving jobs. ive worked with yesterdays witness dave Lockridge. even among us skilled divers with all these professional tickets there is a hierarchy of skills. doesn't matter what tickets you have, its your ability and skills that matter. you gain no skills from being a passive observer in a non commercial working environment. nothing. all your doing is floating and breathing. your not solving problems, rebuilding dive systems, maintaining full ships full of hyperbaric equipment. installing huge pipes and valves on 12 hour shifts, landing 100T manifolds on the seabed in zero vis and mud up to your waist. she a kiddy diver. again. she has no real world experience as a working diver. she was in an office her entire life and someone offered her adventure, she thought she was instantly a commercial diver. she was not. she knew nothing of the environment she found her self in. this is typical of Stockton and other people who want to do commercial work and not pay the workers or follow the rules, they get people to work for them who have no industry experience so they dont know how dangerous and stupid the things going on around them are. They stay becasue they are in awe of the opportunity they wouldnt otherwise recieve from a regular sub team or dive team that doesnt allow people with zero experience or qualifications to work for them. are you getting the picture now? this is a modified stockholm syndrome scenario. she is protecting the person who put her in danger becasue they shared an emotional bond from the incredibly dangerous position he put her in.

There was a journalist on the dive to the Andrea Dora. He said if it wasn’t for David getting them out off there they would have died. There was also a lot of panic. He is still traumatised to this day. I’m not sure if he had a breakdown. The committee should interview him to get the true story of what happened when Stockton Rush got them well and truly stuck inside the prow. Exactly. They've been sold the lie that "explorers" were just as dodgy & just giving it a go.
But explorers went on wooden boats , where the wood was shaped, cut & fitted by skilled workmen that knew how to work with it, & put together very precisely , and with boat designs that were SO well engineered & tested to float AND survive in heavy storms etc over decades, hundreds of years of testing.
They didn't just cheaply make a thing they imagined, then trust it in the most dangerous places, first go, ignoring what was known to be the safety perameters.
I believe Rush knew how to read people & speak to their particular motivations.
For this woman, preying on her want to be important etc.
To the well spoken, sacked sub pilot/engineer from yesterday, Rush appealed to his want to help bring a new sub company with no experience, to being a safe concern, as he knew how to do.

I find it interesting that as "mission specialist" she can't explain a single thing adequately... not the safety protocols, not the "job description", not how anything in and on the sub works... It sounds like an overenthusiastic passenger... she says that everything is explained in detail, but she can't really provide any details... I just find it utterly confusing.

Wow, doesn't sound too knowledgeable. She got to use a camera, so that made her a mission specialist, who had to pay. It make'th no sense. Yes, I know that isn't a real word, but it works.
She was so happy to see things like squids and other sea life. I am not a diver, but would assume people who dive often would see sea life. Or was it just that she was happy that others saw it. I am really not anti her, but sounds rather like a person who might believe in Santa. Or maybe a groupie.

That's false. Did you even listen to the other witnesses and engineers testimonies thus far? If so, knowing now everything that you know, would you have got into the submersible? If you wouldn't, then you answered your self, because what was going to happen was already told them, it was just a matter of time. Stockton Rush took advantage and beguiled others to make money and fame in his selfish ambition. They trusted a con-man who over and over talked about how safe it was by breaking all the rules and he fired anyone that didn't go along with his plans. He lied constantly, even about collaborating with NASA. He didn't inform these "mission specialists" (ie: passengers) of the design flaws that were brought to his attention by David Lockeridge and others. Stockton would have never gotten anyone into that submersible if he told the truth, let alone billionaires. And those who did know about these fatal design flaws would not get into it, as stated.
