I am so glad you included a bandcamp link so i could purchase your whole lili boulanger collection. I recently discovered her music and love how much the musician can speak through the music but at the same time the music itself has such a strong voice. You interpreted her work beautifully! I look forward to hearing your interpretation many more times : )

This is one more proof of just how talented was Lili Boulanger. We have to be grateful that she lived at all, however short the years.

Nice. Sounds a lot like a Faure song.

I was thinking the exact same thing. At 0:20 it reminded me of the accompaniment of Fauré's setting of "Clair de lune".

Faure was in fact a friend of their family's, and she also studied with him when she was young. But what's remarkable to me is that she was able to have a singular compositional voice, and with such depth, at such a young age. I recommend listening to more of her works if you haven't already. I'd even argue that she doesn't need to be compared to her male contemporaries. :) I have a whole album of her piano works here: sophiasv.bandcamp.com/album/lili
