I have recently purchased Honda Amaze BS6 Diesel VX CVT on 24-07-2020.. I am getting an average of 12.5kmpl in city with AC ON.. Is this normal or less ?? Can u pls tell.. Need ur help
It is quite less unless you’ve been driving it really hard on S mode. If that is not the case then you should get around 14-15 kmpl in city and anything around 17-18 on highway!
Unless the CVT is seriously overbuilt, how could it possibly withstand the torque of a diesel, CVTs are figuratively made out of bone china 200 NM = 147 Ft-Lb A VW 2.0 TDI WITH 236 Ft-Lb (321 NM) would utterly shred a CVT...
@Tejas Uparkar torque converter automatic is the best of all...it is available in maruti suzuki vehicles except baleno which is a cvt...ford ecosport also has torque converter automatic in bs6 models...downside of torque converters types are less fuel efficiency compared to other types...but are very reliable
@@shibu8300 "it is available in maruti suzuki vehicles except baleno which is a cvt". Torque converter is the best, but Maruti's cars all have AMT which is just an automated mode of manual transmission. And no, none of them have Torque converters. TC's are heavy in weight, and in fuel drinking, so much that they will be against Maruti's ideals in providing what the target audience wants.
This channel deserves lot of attention
