The three guys leave much richer than they were that morning.
I like to do this for the lowest ranked pro team in each country I play in, just to see what happens as the game matures. The teams always succeed after being given the money for a few years, then they go broke. What happens is the AI is very poor at infrastructure upgrades, and managing income vs expenditures, especially when there is extra cash to spend. As much of the money as possible will be spent in the transfer market buying the best players available, and playing ridiculously high wages as a result, which ends up being unsustainable. The AI is simply obsessed with throwing money at unnecessary players just for the sake of it. Meanwhile the team will not invest in better facilities, or bigger stadiums, because their home markets are typically hardcoded to be small markets, since they are small teams to begin with, so they do not grow their revenue channels. If a team is lucky, they could get a good sponsorship, but that too little too late in every case. Since they cannot expand their revenue, and the game has no idea how to realistically manage income vs expenditures (since all it cares about is how much cash do I have right now), they simply burn through the money in 5-10 years, lose all their expensive players, get demoted back to about where they started, and the game continues along like nothing happened.
i did a similiar thing to Newcastle in fm 15. But i made their stadium 500,000 and they fill it every week. Which basically gave them about £300m to spend every summer. Took 7 years AND WON THE LEAGUE. Basically become the biggest team in the world and could buy anyone i wanted. Got boring..but it was fun.

What fun is there in that? If you manage well you don't stay in the same league for more than two seasons. I did it with Bromley.. and won CL in the first season in the prem with Scunthorpe. I only cheat once a year during the youth intake, but unless you build up your academy you won't get gems, no matter how many times you try :)
was disable transfer budgets for the first season enabled? This makes the CPU controlled teams unable to spend more money than they had available in real life to add realism, maybe why they don't spend in season 1?

Because I used the full editor it forces you to raise reputation. I should have used the in-game one instead, but the reputation will quickly fall due to them being in lower leagues.
this just shows how poorly this games programmed it shouldn't make much difference because the league the teams in has a reputation which should cancel it out but as we have seen it does nothing (no way would those players go to a semi pro team)

the last edition i played fm16, i always get beaten by smaller clubs in carling cups, teams beat manutd 8-0. 4-1, 3-0 etc no matter the formation
