I sent you a message the other day to say thanks for changing our lives! Both my wife and I have gone Vegan and have never felt better than we do now! Not only that, I have my whole life had a 1mm gap in my front teeth, never did braces. I had never heard of Invisalign until we saw your vlog about it, my wife came across your channel watching your DIY vlogs, and I started watching it too. We then saw your first Invisalign vlog, I immediately started googling about it and searched for a Doctor in Cape Town - South Africa (Where we live). I found a doctor last month, had a consultation in May, and this week Friday Im going for my photos and xrays, the week after going for my molds then getting my first set of aligners!!!!!!! Thanks a million!!!!!!!
You and Michael are so inspiring to me. Love your easy going attitude and the way you fully embrace your hobbies and interests. Looking forward to more videos! Love from Canada
I've kept coming back to your channel, for several years now, whenever I'm feeling down. Your videos/life/personality is just so lovely & calming. I love your minimalism & all the animals that always seem to surround you. & of course the yummy natural food. xx
So loved this video. You guys are just a joy to watch. You enjoy life but in a relaxed easy way,no keeping up with the jones's or having to have a Mercedes and the best of everything. I am so over all of that and wasting all the money I did on materialistic things. I gave up Louis Vuitton's for vegan purses and feel so much better. xocathy
I saw your video about getting a real job. I think people say that to others to try to make the world as misserable and unhappy as they are. Or they are affraid to get up off the couch and make a change because of how hard it is to fix any situation a peson may be in but it can be done. If some did it before we did then we can do it to. you go girl
Christine, you are such an inspiration to me. To see your channel go from the pink room / makeup collecting days to minamalist vegan is so awesome and fun to watch. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
It is financially easier in the US and their states. But here in the Caribbean a simple thing like a mango is 1.50USD per mango, Canteloupe (Melon) is 4USd per KG, romaine lettuce is $10USd for 3 stalks. Potatoes are 10 USD for a bag. I often wonder how sunshine countries who produce fruits and veges year round could be more expensive than countries who have winter and produce less. Go figure. (This is just for info on prices, not a criticism in any way)
Hi Christine, I am fasting for a month starting today for Ramadan. We have to try and make wise choices about what to eat, so we get all our nutrients and we can stay full for long periods of time. This video alone was SOOO beneficial, and I will try to make a lot of the meals you ate. Thank you so much!!!! :)
Christine! Your vlogs are absolutely exceptional! Lovely layout and a lovely life you have. Really love your vibe and LOVE your delicious vegan food! Yummy! Keep it coming! Thank you so much!
Thanks for mentioning the book, Eat vegan on 4 dollars a day. My food budget is very limited, so this will be very helpful, although I will convert the it into pounds.
Love your channel, Christine! I'm a fairly new subbie and was just wondering if there's a reason why you don't use reusable shopping bags/produce bags? xx
Thanks for taking us along. :) We didn't make it to the beach this time, but I really enjoyed your drive from the orthodontist to lunch because I could see the ocean. Ahhh...Hawaii, how I will miss you. Lol Your teeth look beautiful by the way, but you always had a beautiful smile anyway because it exuded a light from within. Invisalign was only able to accentuate the beauty that was there from the beginning. :) Have a wonderful week!💕-Amirah
Aww we wanted to go to the opening of the Hemp Festival but we had to work! Thanks for sharing your experience there! The grocery haul was fantastic! It made us want tamales!
Hello! How often do you water your succulents? especially the Donky tails(?) I have one and i notice it grows faster if I dont water it as much ? LOL thanks you!
Great question! I'll try to make a video on succulent care and share more details. But for watering succulents, the general rule is to let the soil dry out between waterings. How often to water depends on the climate, season, soil, pot, amount of soil, drainage, etc. :)
Great video as usual. I love your vlogs especially when you do food and recipe vlogs. Can you tell me what kind of tea you used for that ice tea? Do you recommend regular caffeinated green tea or decaff. I am confused because they say the process that companies use to take caffeine out, is not good and takes away most of the benefits of it.
Are those tea bags made for cold brewing? I've only made iced tea with hot water and sometimes green tea gets bitter if I forget about it for more than a few minutes. Does cold brewing it in the fridge prevent that?
They're just regular green tea bags, I used Yogi Super Antioxidant green tea. I know what you mean about the bitterness, that's one reason why I love cold brew tea because it has a clean refreshing taste. It's really good, give it a try. :)
Thanks! I'm bringing my faves with us. My nursery succulents I actually grow for resale now. I have customers that come by and purchase for weddings, projects and their own garden. :)
Oh I actually didn't use any dressing. The rice bowls are full of flavor with all the toppings, especially using sweet potato or avocado. For the salad I also just use avocado as the "dressing". :)
I tried the Kombucha Gingerade dingy me didn't see the that you aren't suppose to shake the bottle. It is different but by the time I finished it I liked the taste of it.
It's always cool to see products from Home Goods and Ross in your videos! :) I go there, too, and often like same products that I see in your house :) like this super cute white fur stool ♥
Those dishes look amazing.. i'm going to have to try making something like that! Also... A note on coconut icecream.. it may just be me since I never liked anything coconut related, but I tried coconut ice cream once and i had to force myself to finish it. Almost. I left a little dollop on the counter... it never melted. I do love Almond milk ice cream though! I'm not vegan (yet) but lactose intolerant which is why i tried them.
Your meals always look so delicious. Although I don't plan on going vegan anytime soon, you still give me great healthy meal ideas. I definitely want to cut out as much processed foods as possible.
Hey Christine! I always enjoy your videos! Especially the new minimalism ones (because I am on the same path since I moved 2 years ago --it's an ongoing process for me). I would really like if you could make it more clear if it is the next day..because it confused me at first. Keep up the good work! It is always so relaxing to listen to your voice! Love from Austria :)
Thank you for another great video-you inspire me in so many ways! I noticed "Eat to Live" by Joel Fuhrman at the library...I'm pretty sure that's a vegan "cookbook" with a focus on salads. :)
Yeah, it's a pretty place for sure, which is why we've lived here for 16 years. We've considered just taking our time and seeing how we feel in a few months. You know, not rushing anything. But we know the expensive prices and high cost of living/housing out here won't change. We've been going over the cost/benefit analysis pretty often, at this point we're just not sure buying a house here meshes well with our future goals.
I've been having the hardest time eating since I got pregnant. :( I don't like to eat highly processed foods, but it's like all I've been eating. Veggies and fruits haven't been filling me up like they usually do, and having too many grains makes me bloated and uncomfortable. :( What's a preggo girl to do?!
+Joyce I'll give that a try! I'd assume I'm getting enough calories, because if I don't eat every few hours I end up with morning sickness. Girl this has been a tough transition, these past 4 months!
you will need double the calories, at least. While deeply unfashionable, the calorie is what keeps you alive. Vitamins and minerals just keep you healthy and strong. Vegan food is very low in calories
I want to get some delicious vegetarian cookbooks! Also, can you do a moving/packing video when you guys move to Arizona. I have started decluttering my makeup and room decor, I am trying to become a casual minimalist. My husband and I plan to move to Tempe or Mesa Arizona in November... So excited! Great video!! 😘
At 22:36 the lady looked like she was questioning why you had a camera pointed at her lol I also had a question, what's going to happen with the chickens and the succulents when you decide to move? Who's going to keep care of them?
Do you have any videos on succulent care? If not, do you think you could make one? I have succulents and cacti but sometimes have trouble making sure they're healthy. Thanks!
Hemp is so versatile with a neutral taste so it doesn't overpower other flavors. Congratulations on paying off your Invisalign....what an achievement!!! You are a highly classy lady. You and Michael make a beautiful couple. I really enjoy your videos!!!😊😊😊
It feels like this is the start of a goodbye to Maui. I can't put my finger on it exactly, but it seemed bitter sweet somehow. Where I live we've been plagued in the last week with sea mists, whilst just a couple of miles away it is scorching. Beach life has its advantages and disadvantages and I can see the lure of Arizona!
Not only do you have great budgeting tips, you're vegan, too! I love it! The China Study is my favorite book of all time, and I read a lot, and all kinds of topics, fiction and non-fiction. I'm with you, I don't use the faux meats; I just don't seem to need that. I sure wish I didn't want to eat peanut butter! I was on Maui one time - probably before you were born - and I loved it, it was my favorite of Oahu, Kawaii and Maui (that's all I saw).
How do you avoid bloating from eating that much honeydew? I will sometimes have 1/4 of a watermelon for a snack, and I always bloat. I'm a raw vegan btw.
I've been seeing that, I check Arizona weather daily, just to compare our weather/humidity. I'm totally envious of your 8% humidity, clear blue sky and all those sunny days! :) xo
Christine Kobzeff Yes, the humidity is paradise until August when the monsoons hit....but it will still be more tolerable to you (I lived on Oahu for 4 years), it gets pretty "muggy" in August/late July but the monsoons are a nice night time change! 8% humidity is nice, but remember an oven is a dry heat too! lol You will love it Christine! I have been here 38 years this June, grew up in the midwest and Canada and would never go back! Love you and your channel!! Look forward to your move as much as you do!! :) xo, Jen
Hey Christine I have a question, I've been trying to find a good natural deodorant to use but I cannot find one. The ones I've tried aren't strong enough for the hot weather. Which deodorant do you use?
Good question! I currently use "Salt of the earth" and it is effective but I find that I perspire more than I'd like to. I think that's one of the downfalls of using natural deodorants,it controls the odour but its not an antiperspirant
If Michael likes things that simulate meat, you have got to get the brand "Field Roast", its made out of all whole veggie! Why not make your own almond or peanut butter? One of your stores should have it available for you to make. You can also do it yourself in your Vitamix.
I'm not a vegan. I don't know if I can do it. I have two teenagers who I cook for and who enjoy their eating lifestyle. My husband went vegan a couple years ago but reverted 8 months into it. It's hard when you have a family that is used to eating a certain way, and coming up with ideas on what to cook can be challenging. For the past three months, thanks to you, I have been trying to incorporate vegan eating into my life. I'm not vegan yet, nor do I think I can be forever, but I have to say that I enjoy eating some of the delicious meals that I got from your videos. I used to think you were a crazy over the top makeup hoarder with a shopping addiction. It's so nice to see how you have evolved. Wondering what did it take for you to come to that decision? How did you go from make up junkie to living a more simple life? Do you miss all the makeup? Was there a big turning point for you? For me, it's the weight gain due to a hysterectomy and coming into menopause (I'm 50). I want my body back so I'm trying to eat better....and it's working! Anyways, sorry for the long comment. How did I find you? Well, surfing the net about driving to the North Shore from Waikiki a couple years ago. There you were, in your car vlogging. So you can say, "you got me at Waikiki". Good luck in your future. Thanks for your part in getting me to change my life.
I sent you a message the other day to say thanks for changing our lives! Both my wife and I have gone Vegan and have never felt better than we do now!

Thanks a million!!!!!!!
I love seeing how much minimalism has changed your makeup collection!! It's crazy it all fits in that one little box now. You're awesome. :-)
Thanks so much Caitlin! So crazy right?! Coming from hoarding 10 drawers full of makeup, to just one drawer. It feels great! :) xo
You and Michael are so inspiring to me. Love your easy going attitude and the way you fully embrace your hobbies and interests. Looking forward to more videos! Love from Canada

Ahh a 24 minute video from Christine!!
A perfect way to end my Sunday 💓💕
Aww thanks Natalie! xo

Your rice dishes look so delish, do you use a sauce or dressing? Recipes please!!
Christine, you are such an inspiration to me. To see your channel go from the pink room / makeup collecting days to minamalist vegan is so awesome and fun to watch. Thank you for sharing your life with us.
Your videos make me so happy!
christine,
you're a sweet and kind person.
thank you for being an inspiration.
Wow, those succulents are beautiful! I could never water them myself, the laziness gets in me. :))
you should take the squash flowers and cook them up a bit with onion and chili peppers and make a vegan quesadilla with them- SOOO delicious!
Whaat?! I had no idea! Thanks girl! We'll have to give that a try. xo
Christine, seeing what you eat gives me so many ideas and helps keep me on track! Thank you so much!
Congrats on paying off your invisalign!
Thank you for letting people see how easy it really is to be vegan, and what a wonderful variety of foods are available for vegans.

Wow! Your succulent nursery is amazing😍
Christine! Your vlogs are absolutely exceptional! Lovely layout and a lovely life you have. Really love your vibe and LOVE your delicious vegan food! Yummy! Keep it coming! Thank you so much!
I love spending the day with you through your vlogs. Thanks for sharing normal, everyday life with all of us.
This vlog made me so happy
my husband loves those vegan faux meat products from gardein , i think that actually helped him to transition
at the beginning
yes cold brewed and sun teas are my favorites
Mine too, they are so good!
That tiny gecko when you were watering! Awww
Omg I know right! I try to be careful watering on the boards because it's like their own personal suntanning deck. ;) xo
16:51 A little lizard friend stopped by to say hi to you
Love all your plants! They are healthy and beautiful! You really take good care of them!
I always look so forward to your videos. Can't believe your little nursery you have going. Just beautiful. love from Canada.
it is so nice to see you smile and thank you for sharing your wonderful life
Thanks for mentioning the book, Eat vegan on 4 dollars a day.
My food budget is very limited, so this will be very helpful,
although I will convert the it into pounds.
Great video. Love seeing the palm trees against blue sky
Love your channel, Christine! I'm a fairly new subbie and was just wondering if there's a reason why you don't use reusable shopping bags/produce bags? xx
We usually do, except I forgot it at home on this time. :(
This was so fun. Thanks for taking us along. Great times.

Girl, your teeth look so beautiful. That was an _excellent_ investment. I'm seriously considering Invisalign for myself. You look so, so gorgeous.
Great video as usual. I love your vlogs especially when you do food and recipe vlogs. Can you tell me what kind of tea you used for that ice tea? Do you recommend regular caffeinated green tea or decaff. I am confused because they say the process that companies use to take caffeine out, is not good and takes away most of the benefits of it.
absolutely love watching your vlogs!
hope there might be a video on the meals you made. they looked so yummy.

is that a business you will continue with in your new home do you think?
Not only do you have great budgeting ideas, but you're vegan, too! I love it! The chickens and chicks are so cute!
You never mention if you add anything on top of your rice bowls or salad bowls? What are your healthy options for salad dressing? Thanks!
Oh I actually didn't use any dressing. The rice bowls are full of flavor with all the toppings, especially using sweet potato or avocado. For the salad I also just use avocado as the "dressing". :)
+Christine Kobzeff thank you for that explaining that 😀
I tried the Kombucha Gingerade dingy me didn't see the that you aren't suppose to shake the bottle. It is different but by the time I finished it I liked the taste of it.
No...oops...never shake Kombucha!!
I looove your confidence. Way to go!

I love your vlogs they are so relaxing and informative. hemp is a great sorce of protein.. love seeing all the recipe's have a great day
Thanks girl! Hope you have an great day too! xo
What do the Okinawan sweet potatoes taste like??
They have their own unique sweet potato taste and texture but they're a deep purple and full of antioxidants. xo
Your meals always look so delicious. Although I don't plan on going vegan anytime soon, you still give me great healthy meal ideas. I definitely want to cut out as much processed foods as possible.
Thanks Cesar! I hear you, yeah go for those whole foods, the less processed food we eat the better. :)
Can you do more minimalism videos? They really inspire me to cut back
Sure, can do! xo
Do you toss your fruits and veggies scraps out to the chickens? They looove that.
Thanks girl! Yeah, they go crazy for it. But I haven't tried the melon rinds with them yet, that'll be next. :)
+Christine Kobzeff cool bean sprouts. 😊 Our neighbors just moved to Southern Utah and gave their chickens away. 🙁 They were fun to feed.
Love the birds! They will miss you when you move! Xo
Thank you for another great video-you inspire me in so many ways! I noticed "Eat to Live" by Joel Fuhrman at the library...I'm pretty sure that's a vegan "cookbook" with a focus on salads. :)
Thanks Jenny! xo
I can't imagine moving away from that paradise!!!
Yeah, it's a pretty place for sure, which is why we've lived here for 16 years. We've considered just taking our time and seeing how we feel in a few months. You know, not rushing anything. But we know the expensive prices and high cost of living/housing out here won't change. Granola is literally the best breakfast ever!!!
Totally!! :)
Awww, it's so sweet of you to feed the birdies :) It's awesome you are a vegan!!!
❤️❤️❤️ your vlogs !!
love your vegan videos, trying to hard to make the transition. you are the only vegan youtuber who isn't arrogant, self righteous, or a bully :))))
Thank you so much beautiful!!! *Huge hugs* xo
Yes! I have learned so much from her because she has "you do you" approach. IMO she shares without judgement!
Are you bringing the chickens to Arizona? If not do you have someone to give them too..love the vid!
I really like your personality you're such a nice woman! I love you channel and you're definitely one of my favorite youtubers!
Are you getting enough calories? Protein? Fat? Try eating more beans, nuts, and avocados. And make sure you're getting an omega 3 supplement.
+Josephine Winter Ahh! you're only supposed to have like 300 calories extra when pregnant!! lol!
I est Manitoba Harvest Hemp Hearts in everything!!!!!! Soooo good. Perfect food.
Awesome! xo
+Christine Kobzeff can you share your recipe for the vegan tamales
I've been watching you for ever you're my favorite thank you for teaching so much
Thank you so much Mimi! xo
You are going to be over the moon when you get to AZ (where I live) and see the produce prices :) so excited for you!
At 22:36 the lady looked like she was questioning why you had a camera pointed at her lol
I also had a question, what's going to happen with the chickens and the succulents when you decide to move? Who's going to keep care of them?
did you see the little tiny iguana on your plants when you were watering them? so cute!
That button is not vegan Christine! LOL! ;) GREAT VIDEO!!!
LMAO!! I love it!! ;D
Do you have any videos on succulent care? If not, do you think you could make one? I have succulents and cacti but sometimes have trouble making sure they're healthy. Thanks!
.Thank you both for sharing!
Hemp is so versatile with a neutral taste so it doesn't overpower other flavors. Congratulations on paying off your Invisalign....what an achievement!!! You are a highly classy lady. You and Michael make a beautiful couple. I really enjoy your videos!!!😊😊😊
What will you do with all your succulents when its time to move??? I would hate to have to depart with them!
Hi Christine!
Love your videos, but quick question.. who will feed Dinosaur and her babies once you move?
Just wondering... They are so cute!!!
I was going to ask that too...who will feed the chickens when you move 😘
Oh I love these type of vlogs. Did you sell your guinea pigs? I haven't seen them in a long time.
Oh check out my last Q&A, I share all about them in that video. :)
Could u tel me where did u get ur yoga mat?... I love it. 😊
A recent recall on the Gold Metal brand flour in the US, not sure if it affects you.
The So Delicious snickerdoodle ice cream is to die for! So good if you're craving something cinnamony and sweet and vegan junk foody :)
Does the almond milk not break you out?
Please do a video on your favorite cruelty free body care & house cleaners please!
I loooooove your food vlogs
I really appreciate these videos! Really thank you very much.

I was on Maui one time - probably before you were born - and I loved it, it was my favorite of Oahu, Kawaii and Maui (that's all I saw).
Great video. OMG $8.000 for Invisalign. I dread to think how much it will cost here in Australia.
Have you heard of Madam glam? They are supposed to be cruelty free and mostly vegan. They have some beautiful nail polishes.
So Delicious Coconut Milk Ice Cream is my absolute favorite!
How do you avoid bloating from eating that much honeydew? I will sometimes have 1/4 of a watermelon for a snack, and I always bloat. I'm a raw vegan btw.
We are setting record highs in Arizona! 113 on Saturday and 115 today :)
I believe it was only 111 in Tucson, though!
+Deb W I've lived here ~35 years but it's still hot! Mostly you stay inside with the air conditioner on or out in the pool with a ton of sun block!
I've been seeing that, I check Arizona weather daily, just to compare our weather/humidity. I'm totally envious of your 8% humidity, clear blue sky and all those sunny days! :) xo

Hawaii prices...wow. Gonna miss your vlogs on the islands but I can understand the move.
