You without a doubt are one of the smartest people I know. You are always researching and adjusting to what your body needs based on research. You also are one of my top two calming people on you tube. Your voice, your spirit, your nature always take me to a better place and I thank you. With love, Paula
It amazing how you have come in since I have been watching, you were one of the first you tubers I watched. Your attitude towards life is amazing and I love watching. xx
Hi Christine, please remember that we all need fats for brain function and hormone production. I wouldn't suggest cutting out all fats - and yes you can consume nuts and seeds to get fats if you are wanting to eliminate processing. xoxo
I can't believe how much of inspiration you are to me! I've watched you since your makeup days to minimalism to going vegan. I have adopted the vegan lifestyle and loving it within a few months. and this is coming from someone who ate all you can eat korean bbq 1-2 a week and specialized in grilled steak and Carne asada tacos. now I'm striving to continue this plant-based life.
You are so beautiful and such an inspiration! I love your little rambles of information and how you aren't pushing your changes on Michael or on anyone else! Thank you for making videos, I look forward to them all of the time. They make me so happy!
I've been watching your videos for a while and I love to see you get healthy day by day. Keep it up. You are great example that you can bring to yourself anytime. Proud of you.
I have a question for you! I've had invisalign for about a year now (just started 6 months of revisions, ugh, longer than expected). I'm always brushing my teeth and the whole routine, snacking isn't always easy! Do you eat your fruit, brush and all of that, then put them back on to take them off again after yoga? My mouth can get sore from that. Ps 💗 you!
For the b-12 spray, do you put it in the fridge or do you let it set at room temp? Also, what other supplements do you take that are vegan or is the spray the only thing?
I'll have to look into the yoga website you recommended. Many important vitamins and nutrients in veggies are fat-soluble and need oils to be absorbed by the body, so I wouldn't cut them completely -- especially not from salads. But if you eat avocados along with your tomatoes, for instance, you don't need to add oil.
You are such an inspiration toward living clean. I also appreciate you sharing followed with "you do you". It is such a transition and baby steps are better than no steps. Thank you! What was your pivotal moment to decide to just do it and become totally vegan and clean?
That's cute that you are excited to watch the new yoga girl and see what she does,& she is in great shape... that's how we all feel about you!!! So happy you are doing more vlogging, foodie stuff, and daily things, my favorite kinds. Also, learning about the better skin care & makeup. And,holycowgirl...Your facial skin,Wow what a difference. Smooth, even toned & radiant, so fresh!!
'China Study' and 'How Not to Die' are excellent. As is anything by Dr. McDougall----Glad you are getting them! :) And, glad to hear that you are no longer doing protein powders. Our plants have enough protein for us--- Very happy for you that you have become vegan and are living the lifestyle---Is deffo one of the best decisions I ever made----It's been several years, and I feel blessed for finding out about it. So, I thank you for all you are doing to explain it to people. And, thanks for all the work you put into your channel! :)
Thank you are so inspiring! I love your videos there never to long. Thank you for sharing so much Knowledge and valuable information. I totally agree with you on caffeine. I wish I could give it up I'm so addicted to it. It does have a negative effect on your skin. I hope you do more videos on this topic and also on the books that you're reading. Thank you again you're such an inspiration!
Loved this vlog! Thanks for sharing. I love my coffee, but I feel like it makes me crash a few hours after I drink it. I only have one cup per day. Would like to go without it and see how I feel. Will plan to when I feel ready.
So just to start off i obviously love your videos and for the past 6 years you have been the only youtuber I consistently have watched. I don't think I have ever had anyone I would consider a 'role model' or someone to look up too it's just not my thing but you're definitely the closest thing to that for me and for that I have to thank you a lot! xx
I must try that cleanser! Also, I want to make that smoothie, the lime sold me! The yoga video made me sleepy, her voice was so relaxing. I hope to get back into doing some a.m. yoga soon.
Vegan is the best way to go. I am so glad you are suggesting ideas for the Vegan lifestyle. I appreciate it so much. I have been making the changes I need to replace my skin care and makeup to Vegan/Cruelty Free. There are so many Vegan options and it is so much healthier. I cringe when I think about the meat, milk and cosmetic industries. Vegan is the future! Love you videos and your decorating and wardrobe style!
Thank you for the inspiration. I love cooking vegan but I have not gave up coffee or Chocolate completely I wish I had the will power. Your hair and skin are beautiful . hugs and blessings to you.
In terms of caffeine, I have 1 green tea a week, chocolate (non-dairy) 3x a week, and occasionally a decaf coffee (still contains caffeine). That's all. I find, the less caffeine I ingest, the better I sleep and the more consistent my energy is throughout the day.
Always love your videos Christine!! Truly you are awesome, inspiring and totally gorgeous! Thanks Christine, and Michael too.......you two are a darling couple!
I love your videos, it makes me feel like I'm back in Hawaii. I also was really impressed that you don't "force" Michael to give up his coffee, I've come across some couples that really struggle with that aspect.
I recommend that you watch plant pure nation. I went on a documentary binge in March and watched forks over knives, fat sick and nearly dead, vegucated, fed up, and plant pure nation. FOK was really good but I got the most from plant pure nation. It is made by the son of Campbell, the author of the China Study.
Yup! I am with my soda the way your husband is with his coffee. Plus caffeine tends to have the reverse effect on me. It helps calm me down. I try to limit my soda every day. Once I hit my limit then I drink water the rest of the day. Even with snacks when before I preferred soda. Congrats on your Invisalign progress! :)
I drank 8 espressos a day before I was vegan😳. I just started drinking Green Tea this year bc I really enjoy it. I don't get the same feeling from Tea as I did from Coffee.
Wow, did all that coffee affect your blood pressure at all? Tea definately has a different thing going compared to coffee! I love them both but notice my day flows better with tea or warm water, lemon & ginger. :-)
I know what you mean about oil! It was a real aha moment when I realized all oils are a processed isolate of a whole food. Whole food is the way to go! Looking forward to your vegan grocery haul video, Christine. xo
I have a shunt in my head that prevents build up of spinal fluid. (See my medical story for more info overall.) And my doctors told me that to handle the pain of my headaches that i tend to get, to drink some caffeine to ease the pain. It does help a bit but i do tend to drink more water than i do caffeinated drinks.
Actually I think you were right, certain fats are NOT bad for you! They're a very sustained and slow burning source of energy for your body. We were made to ingest fats. So things like walnuts, almonds, brazil nuts, etc are great sources of energy, along with avocados, coconut, and indeed coconut oil is not at all bad and in fact can be quite good in moderation. I think you have the right attitude though, just find a balance and don't be too swayed by the trend of the day!
+Sophia B Yes! I see too often people still wanting to get rid of fat from their diet. I wanted to say something but you said it better lol! I've learned that the body needs a little bit of everything! Even saturated fats to function properly. Its more about quality of foods and where they are sourced and individual needs. My body tends to do well with a good amount of fat in my diet. Its done wonders for my brain fog, joints, and skin!
+Arcy Young check out holistichabits; hot for food; Lauren Toyota; mango island mamma; makeba; mantras and mangos; bonnyrebecca; montanadanna; sweetpotatosoul; CokingWithPlants ... hope that helps
I've been on a program called plexus for a little over a month and I never thought I could cut out caffeine but now this stuff gives me so much energy it's crazy! I drink over 2 liters of water a day and feel great!
Thank you for this video. I love watching real people. I've been following you for awhile and you are so down to earth and awesome. Gonna try the vegan thang starting this week. It's going to be hard because I'm a licensed cosmetologist and everything has animal products in it.
Really loved this video. I have recently been learning a lot about the effects of diery on your health and been cutting out milk products and soy. I am still learning about oil. Please do more of these videos.
I LOVED watching this Vlog Christine :-) Yoga is AMAZING, I loved all your wonderful meals too :-) thanks a million for sharing and sending you an abundance of Vegan love and happiness from right across the Emerald Isle to Maui and have a FANTASTIC Friday and weekend ahead XXXXX
Omg, girl!! I love you!!!! ❤️❤️❤️. Thank you for the shout! You're awesome!! Your vlogs make me so homesick! Haha. Whole plant foods for the win!!! 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼
Gosh, it is great to hear you are on a plant based life style. I too am on it per Dr. orders. It is an ongoing challenge for me. I have doing this for about 2+yrs. I don't know anyone else that follows this where I live.
I haven't been able to drink caffeine for 5 days because of an illness and I'm very surprised that I'm not having withdrawals. I'm not sure if I'll still drink it or not. I really admire your decision to be vegan & you've definitely given me some things to think about. :-) Thanks for sharing your recipes and tips.
Great video. I'm so glad you are vegan..I have been vegan most of my life but got serious about it about 20 years ago. I since have gone raw. We will save the world for sure. Love you so much. You guys are so much fun to hang out with. Hugs.
Your skin looks soo amazing and glowy! Cutting out caffeine was such a necessary step for me, it used to give me headaches and major anxiety! I used to drink coca cola a lot and just the small amount of caffeine that was in it made me stay up alllll night, I'm so glad that is over!! I do miss black fruity teas tho but it's just not worth it. By the way, if you don't have a non-stick pan, get one! It's a total life saver when cooking without oil. ❤️❤️
I've been trying to incorporate my exercises in the morning lately too and the park we walk at night I used to be really winded up the hills the first time. Last night we walked the whole park and I was not even winded walking up the hill to the car. 💪🏼 so that's a big improvement for me and eating more whole foods. We use barely any oil in our house too. But can't give up my coffee yet...we just use vanilla toffee Stevia as our sweetener. 😋 love your videos!
Love your videos. I had never heated up tortillas with oil. Always used the cast iron pan. ( old school style). I haven't had caffeine in years. I stopped due to Drs orders. I'm fine with out it. Once in w blue moon I do long for a root beer but I read the labels. Some have caffeine and some don't. I drink one root bear. Once a year or so. Where you are keeping the teas, is that a book shelve?
Thank you for the vlog! Missed Michael. Lol The salad looked so yummy! I'm 37 & have traditional braces so it's hard for me to eat things like salad. 😞 But do you just rinse the beans from the can & add to the salad or do you cook them? I can add them to my husband's salads. And lastly do you put any sweetener on your grapefruit if it's too tart or just eat it as is? How do you know when a grapefruit is ripe?
I've never liked coffee. It makes me feel like I'm on some type of speed. Not a good feeling. I do drink tea though and I don't think the caffeine in teas bothers me. I love tea. I really like the warm feeling it gives me, and I feel like it really cleanses me from the inside out.
thank you Christine for all the tips you are giving us. I was in Maui couple weeks ago (visiting from Europe) and went to so many places you have recommended touristic places and shops, restaurants. Bought myself few US products you mentioned in your videos to try them out, thank you so much for all that. I felt like at home in Maui, because of your videos. Was hoping to bump into you somewhere, but unfortunately that did not happen. You would be like my ideal friend, seriously. love your channel. xox
I think the only time I consume caffeine is through tea. And I drink mostly herbal tea, roobios tea and others that have very little to no caffeine. But I will have a coffee every few moths when going out with friends
Oh my gosh, I've been using that B-12 spray for over a year now BUT I've been spraying it directly in my mouth (same with their vit D spray) so does this mean it doesn't work? I want to do Invisalign one day when I can afford it🙏
it's best under the tongue for fast absorption and to bypass the GI tract. ingesting it is not bad, but was not intended but still are able to absorb the nutrition. (most of the time oral medications and vitamins aren't fully absorbed in the GI tract and lots of it is excreted via urine and stool)
I drink coffee and am 99.9% vegan and I need it. I'm currently cutting back trying to keep it at 8-10oz half decaf each day but I'm a teacher and I have to get up at 6 or 6:30 so I need it.
I Just LOVE your vlogs, Christine!!! So interesting! I'm trying the vegan lifestyle as well but not fully there yet...it's even harder because I live with 2 big-time meat eaters!!! lol I do NOT use oil-I water "fry/cook" everything!
I need to drink more water, and if I get a Latte I get Coconut Milk. Protein shakes are something I am wanting to cut out as well, how, much protein do you get daily? You look beautiful btw!
Christine my weekday breakfast smoothie = 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 1/2 cup frozen pineapple, 1 frozen sliced banana, 1 cup coconut water, and a handful of organic baby spinach (or kale). Give it a "whirl" :D
Thank you so much for your videos always very informative. I used to drink a lot of coffee from Starbucks and I gained a lot of weight. I haven't had coffee since February and I'm looking into going vegan. I will continue to watch your videos to help me make a decision. Thanks again.
You without a doubt are one of the smartest people I know. You are always researching and adjusting to what your body needs based on research. You also are one of my top two calming people on you tube. Your voice, your spirit, your nature always take me to a better place and I thank you. With love, Paula
+Paula White I so agree Paula!
Yes! I've followed for so long it's amazing to see her growth while I do the same 💕
+Paula White yes I agree!
Your vegan videos/vlogs are my favorite type of video from you!
You're a really big influence on me, as now I'm vegan at 16!
Love from the PNW
It amazing how you have come in since I have been watching, you were one of the first you tubers I watched. Your attitude towards life is amazing and I love watching. xx
Thanks so much for the mention of the site, Christine!:)🙏🏻
You look incredible! You're glowing and your skin is so smooth! I feel like i need to go vegan now...
Hi Christine, please remember that we all need fats for brain function and hormone production. I wouldn't suggest cutting out all fats - and yes you can consume nuts and seeds to get fats if you are wanting to eliminate processing. xoxo
+Beauty Beholder - Thank you for the clarification. xo

I've been watching your videos for a while and I love to see you get healthy day by day. Keep it up. You are great example that you can bring to yourself anytime. Proud of you.
I miss your home decor diy videos
I'm glad you are finding such happiness with yoga. Yoga has changed my life in so many ways, so it's always great to see that happen to someone else!
I have a question for you! I've had invisalign for about a year now (just started 6 months of revisions, ugh, longer than expected). Your skin is stunning Christine!!
+Natalie O. Yes! I was just thinking that too
You can swap out the protein powder for cannellini beans. They don't change the flavor but add thickness and extra protein.
I have the same habit as you; I drink 32 oz water upon rising every single morning!
+Jennifer Myers It's such a great habit to have! :D
+Christine Kobzeff are you part Asian?
For the b-12 spray, do you put it in the fridge or do you let it set at room temp? Also, what other supplements do you take that are vegan or is the spray the only thing?

I love to cook with water when I reheat my food. Helps keep it from being too dry as well.
You are such an inspiration toward living clean. I also appreciate you sharing followed with "you do you". It is such a transition and baby steps are better than no steps. Thank you! What was your pivotal moment to decide to just do it and become totally vegan and clean?

Oils are processed but they still contain the nutrients of the actual plant or fruit if you use organic unrefined oils.
I was so excited when I got this notification. I love your vlogs!! Thanks for sharing.
whats your opinion on lemon water in the morning?
Your videos can never be too long. :-) You also look much better without makeup.
Loved this vlog! Thanks for sharing. I love my coffee, but I feel like it makes me crash a few hours after I drink it. I only have one cup per day. Would like to go without it and see how I feel. Will plan to when I feel ready.
Yoga is great. I have been doing it off and on for years. Sometimes life gets in the way but I'm trying to go yoga daily
Loved all of those books. I just got How not to die also. Looking forward to it. I'm also a tea person- my fave!
+Rachel Amy I just saw the guy who wrote "How Not to Die" in person! It was a very interesting talk. He travels all around the world talking about it.
You should incorporate enough sesam, flax seeds for enough natural fat and a big plus is they are loaded with omega 3 and calcium.
So just to start off i obviously love your videos and for the past 6 years you have been the only youtuber I consistently have watched. I don't think I have ever had anyone I would consider a 'role model' or someone to look up too it's just not my thing but you're definitely the closest thing to that for me and for that I have to thank you a lot! xx
Thank you for such an inspirational video, you are encouraging me to take better care of myself. Thank you.
So very white and bright. Just to watch your video's every day is a huge pick me up in the mornings.
Thank you for the inspiration. I love cooking vegan but I have not gave up coffee or Chocolate completely I wish I had the will power. Your hair and skin are beautiful . hugs and blessings to you.
Waiting for the grocery haul! Wow your lifestyle is inspiring. The health benefits are amazing.
Literally thought the water was pouring itself at 1.42, like "amazing editing"! 😂😂😂 xxx
Me too!
Omg me too!! Lol

Your videos are always both inspiring and calming. Never too long❤️
Your videos are never too long!
I love your videos, it makes me feel like I'm back in Hawaii. I also was really impressed that you don't "force" Michael to give up his coffee, I've come across some couples that really struggle with that aspect.
I really like Teaccino for a caffeine-free coffee alternative. I make it like iced coffee sometimes and I usually buy it from Vitacost.
Where did you get your water bottle from? What is it called? Thanks!! Love your videos!! You are the first youtube I subscribed to!!
+Celeste Ng (Cellovesmakeup) Thank you so much Celeste!! It's a Hydro Flask, they're the best! They have a great selection of sizes/colors/lid styles.
in Hawaii whole foods carries them and a lot of surf shops but you can also find them on Amazon and hydroflask.com and REI
I recommend that you watch plant pure nation. I went on a documentary binge in March and watched forks over knives, fat sick and nearly dead, vegucated, fed up, and plant pure nation. +Mix It Up Erin Will do, thanks Erin!
Yes !!!! Plant Pure Nation
Hello! I was just wondering how much water you drink by he end of the whole day?! Thanks, love your channel 💗
Christine- What does Michael eat now that he's working a long day doing hard physical work? Would love to know!
That's a great question! I would like to know too.

I was interested in plant based protein powders. Have you ever looked into them or tried any?
Love love your videos! Being a vegan myself, it's always great to see information on the lifestyle! :)
Hi, I really enjoy watching your videos! I would like to know since changing to being Vegan.. what products do you use to wash your hair?

what mascara did you wear in this video? your eyelashes look amazing!
I've never liked coffee. It makes me feel like I'm on some type of speed. Not a good feeling. I do drink tea though and I don't think the caffeine in teas bothers me. I love tea. I really like the warm feeling it gives me, and I feel like it really cleanses me from the inside out.
Me too. Especially after you drink coffee you crash hard. And for me personally it makes me shake
When are you gonna get ur new ring? I am dying to see it completed, I know it will be beautiful
thank you Christine for all the tips you are giving us.
But I will have a coffee every few moths when going out with friends
what kind of library is that? What was the name?
+Joan deeren "Friends Of The Library" It's a used bookstore chain. :)
I meant that as it still works lol
olivuh Thank you so much, I appreciate you explaining it :) I feel better now, but will definitely start spraying it differently, lol!
I drink coffee and am 99.9% vegan and I need it. I'm currently cutting back trying to keep it at 8-10oz half decaf each day but I'm a teacher and I have to get up at 6 or 6:30 so I need it.
have you seen yuri elkaims videos on coffee and other topics too. maybe it helps.
I Just LOVE your vlogs, Christine!!! So interesting! I'm trying the vegan lifestyle as well but not fully there yet...it's even harder because I live with 2 big-time meat eaters!!! lol I do NOT use oil-I water "fry/cook" everything!
I love your shelf and all those beautiful teas and spices. I would love to have enough room in my kitchen for sth like that. :))
I need to drink more water, and if I get a Latte I get Coconut Milk. Protein shakes are something I am wanting to cut out as well, how, much protein do you get daily? You look beautiful btw!
where did you buy your yoga mat from?
You will love The China Study! So inspiring
Christine my weekday breakfast smoothie = 1/2 cup frozen blueberries, 1/2 cup frozen pineapple, 1 frozen sliced banana, 1 cup coconut water, and a handful of organic baby spinach (or kale). Give it a "whirl" :D
I get that ear thing too! Drives me nuts! Did you find that coffee did that?
love your bottle. where can I get one?
Thank you so much for your videos always very informative. I used to drink a lot of coffee from Starbucks and I gained a lot of weight. I haven't had coffee since February and I'm looking into going vegan. I will continue to watch your videos to help me make a decision. Thanks again.
Your skin is looking great. I look forward to all your videos. Thanks for sharing.
