I really hope Panasonic include a GPU Xpak like on the Toughbook 55, all anyone would need to do for the Toughbook 40 is open the waterproof flap open to exhaust heat, it would be so useful to have a Xpak GPU when your in an office environment for more power like Video Editing, Photoshop, 3D Graphics Rendering etc. And if users would close or accidently close the waterproof flap it would stop the GPU Running and it would switch to Intel XE Graphics when out in the field if they do this it would the best of both worlds Powerful PC in Office space and Rugged out on the Field (perhaps there is even a way the GPU Xpak can be designed to use the same vent as the CPU exhaust vent, that way you can keep the waterproof flaps closed for i saw there are already air intake holes on the bottom of expansion area (left))

You should simply invest another desktop in the office. I still recall their amazon price for the xGPU pack solely for FZ-55MK1, even at the end of its shelf life, it was $800. FZ-40 or FZ-55MK2 only sports a quad-core P28 platform CPU(aka 1145G7) This is a decent CPU for 2021 ultrabook but far from good enough for serious rendering. Myself got both FZ-55MK1,MK2 and most major parts, so, I know it is not a good deal if you pay with your own money. Just grab another HP Z Station SFF as a spare for good.

Plus, their xGPU for FZ-55mk2 is not fast at all, it was based upon a dinosaur age AMD Card, not even as fast as Intel Xe. Recently, FZ-55MK3 just released, 1370P comes with a even faster Xe make it even harder to make an xGPU, unless they can manage to insert at least a NV RTX3050-6GB for some real difference.

I'm a photojournalist. On average laptops last me a year, less if I'm in a conflict zone. Pity you don't make a laptop that could run Photoshop on.

Right? And even the version with Intel Xe Graphics starts at 3000$. I could get RTX 4090 with i9, if I wanted a normal desktop... Even more funny is the "upgrade" for 650$, dedicate GPU Radeon ProWX 4150...
I'll just buy refurbished one, which was originally for 2000$, now it costs 100$ 😆.

How to purchase in india..and what is the price??

Very high, I only know Chinese price as my friend is one of major reseller there. The actual price will be over $4000 USD. You can apply similar price to india deduct 13% VAT in China. You only get i5-1145G7 CPU 16GB Ram and 512GB PM991a plus one battery. Like any $500 laptop performance, it is a decent choice in rugged platform but not that good if you buy it and use upon consumer basis.

Average price for $4000. It is not worthy to buy if you pay with your own money, buy with your institution free bucks for good.
