I don’t ever keep that much money in my checking I transfer all my money except for bills the rest of my money goes into my savings account so 3500 they can not get because it is gone to my savings account

It has now been proven to be unsafe, but the same banks that financed its development are trying to dismiss any liability for its security failures. This shouldn't be allowed. They financed its development; they promote its use; and now they want to disavow any liability for you using it? NONONO Anyone scammed through Zelle should be unequivocally reimbursed by their bank and Zelle should immediately be banned from use by such banks since its security and safety features are nonexistent.

The bank shouldn't be responsible for you getting tricked. The banks would lose a lot of money if they paid back money to someone that got tricked into giving their money away. Because there are people that fall for the same trick over and over again.

Just don't answer phone. Don't click on line. If it's that important, you'll get a letter. Drop Zelle. Don't get Zelled.

One thing scammers use is that it is “urgent” you do something right away.
