Hibben made me a knife collector. His stuff all looks like knives I'd make if I were a custom knifemaker. Once you buy one of his knives and see the build quality and feel you'll be immediately shopping for another. The sheathes are equally impressive. That's a pet peeve of mine: nice knives with cheap sheaths. Gil's sheaths are unique to the knife and made with the same quality and attention to detail as the blades.

My Hibbens are my favorite piece of my collection. Man I thought I had a lot of them but wow.... great collection. The Mkv is what pulled me into Hibben, but I could never get a hold of one of that design.

Amazing collection! Hibben is my favorite designer. Your collection definitely dwarfs mine, but out of all the makers, I have more Hibbens than anything else. There's a lot on that table I don't have yet that I want such as the Highlander, Expendables, Old West Bowie, and that Alaskan Karambit looks cool. Those 2 fighters you have in different colors look similar to the Sepulveda blade, but a little different. That one is incredibly tough to find! How's the Rambo III? I have the HC Stallone Signature, and it's basically a wall hanger. The handle is way too big, and it doesn't even have Hibben's name on it! Looks very intimidating though! I have the dBad Mission III that took the design and made a workhorse, so I enjoy beating up on it. Was this video made before your Kenpo knives came in? I think to this day, the Ed Parker is still his favorite he's made. And you're right. Mrs Hibben is very nice! Congrats on the collection, and look forward to seeing more!

Very nice Gil Hibben blade collection , wish he used different steel on some of his knives but other then that they are stunning to admire and I believe he makes then mostly for that purpose.

Hopefully one day I can get one, but that’s why I love collecting Hibben knives. He is one of the only knife maker where you can buy plenty of his designs and enjoy collecting them on any budget. No other maker will do that and what that tells me is that he cares about people not profit. what a super collection of knives. Ive lost count how many times iv'e watched this vid. Can I ask you how you keep these so clean and shiny and hear your advice about how to store these. There is mixed opinions on whether storing these in the sheath is good or bad ?
Hope you are doing well my friend. I polish my blades at least once a month and the big Bowie never go in the sheath. The med size blades that hang in my war chest are kept extra clean so there always being wiped down. I like mothers polish it works really well. Good luck my friend and thank you for watching. Too bad they are all made in China. United Cutlery stuff looks like to me. Gil’s real knives are pretty good. I own some from his Alaska Days, a few from Kentucky but they were all $2500+ to have Gil make em.

On that survival bowie...is that sawback useful. I love sawbacks. The Glock sawback knife is very useful but is more of a bayonet design.
