It’s time to go to the seaside! Welcome to Brighton, the most popular beach town in the south of England. Usually, the streets and beach will be packed with people enjoying a sunny day, but I got a very mild day. Brighton is famous for Brighton Pier, fish and chips and donuts! (2 out of 3 ain’t bad!) Next time you’re in London, take the train down to Brighton for the day or spend a few days there to enjoy the beach and arcades! Enjoy!

I was wondering why everyone wrote ‘Waterloo” in their comments until I reached the end 🤣🤣🤣🤣. Lovely video!!! Gave me nostalgia. I went to Brighton a couple of times when I was working in London and I absolutely loved the place. I did manage to go to the palace. It’s absolutely gorgeous (the decor made me feel like I went back centuries in time) and gave some history about the King who had some genetic disorder if I recall correctly. I loved the pier as well. I got hooked on a ‘toy-grabber’ thingy and ended up spending %£50 to get a tiny teddy bear!! 😂. The fish and chips at the pier were quite yummy. Not being as adventurous (or fit!) I didn’t explore as much as you did so I’m happy you showed us so many more places. Thank you for being kind to people in general.. I believe kindness goes a long way and you never know when someone is having a bad day and your kindness makes their day better! Looking forward to your next adventure.
Thanks for watching until the end! Brighton is great, definitely close enough to go there for the day from London. I think the crane machines in the arcade are fixed so you can't win 🤣 well you can win but not often! I'll try fish and chips on the pier next time!, Captain's was just okay! I 100% believe kindness goes further than rudeness. No doubt about it. We're all just trying our best to get through each day, let's all be kind! Next adventure coming soon 😁

our dad (late) loved & introduced ABBA to us and ABBA became one of our favourite (then)
❤ THANKS for bringing back 'memories' of our own family holidays there many years ago.
our family stayed there for a month for our sister graduation at a University (there)
It's more 'lay back' compared to busy & vibrant LHR all year round.
the stoney beach there totally different from our 🇲🇾 sandy beach 😂
our dad (late) enjoyed most was museums including the Naval museum in Plymouth .....
😊 Happy for you that you got that spectacular view room,
ALSO like the way you promote 'kindness' (your usually kind nature) despite of 'disappointed moments'

Hi Ben, I just found and subscribed to your channel and I’m enjoying it very much! I don’t get to travel much, but if I ever did, I would definitely check to see if you were available as a tour guide by then. I’m from Staten Island New York by the way, and worked in Midtown Manhattan for 10 years. We do call them “Bumper cars” here in the states lol. I used to live in Brooklyn, so my family used to go to Coney Island quite often. Our arcades look just like yours do, and PAC Man is now considered one of the retro games, like Donkey Kong, and Space invaders. We do call your candy floss cotton candy. And, at one time we had a chain eatery called Arthur Teachers fish and chips, but sadly, most if not all of them, have since gone. Thank you so much for your fun and interesting videos. I’m looking forward to watching😊

Ben, you've made me feel very old! Not only was I watching Eurovision the night ABBA won (although I was very young at the time), but Quadrophenia (a film you've never even heard of!) is one of my favourite films of all time.
I love Brighton and go there often, which is easy for me as I live only a 40 minute drive away. In fact, I'll be going there either tomorrow or Saturday to do some photography and to get some sea air! A favourite area is North Laine, which you didn't show in the video. It's FULL of cool bars, pubs, cafés, restaurants, quirky shops and vintage markets. If you've never been, make sure you go next time! As you leave the station, head towards the beach, but take the first turning on the left that you come to and head downhill. All the various streets that make up the North Laine area will be on your right. They carry on towards the main road (the High Street?).

Take us to Southampton next. I've know it as a cruise ship terminal. How about a trip to Cambridge and Oxford? Take us around the, "unni" campus. 😁

What was the cost of the train London to Brighton and the return? How many hours was the trip? Are there commercial busses that do the same?
London to Brighton on the train is around 1 hour and costs 15 pounds. There are busses but no one takes the bus, no need to when the train is three times as fast.
