Very insightful video. It's the time to show the reality of medical, specifically MBBS degree. Mostly students aim for MBBS due to parental pressure, societal pressure, fashion, and just for the name of Doctor who did an MBBS. I hate this madness for MBBS. Someone needs to address this......
Two years back, I was preparing for mdcat and it was such a stressful situation. There is an unlimited amount of syllabus for us to cover but still there are out of syllabus MCQs and the competition for just few seats... I can't even tell in words how much difficult it was for an average student to keep up with all of this. Now I'm doing IT and so glad that I changed my mind and left this field..
Hey! Can you please guide me about the non medical fields as you are doing IT.. Is it Worth it ? Or is it difficult for a medical student to pursue computer related fields? I'm totally in your situation

The same thing is happening in India🇮🇳 too with MBBS. Clearing the toughest NEET exam if not you have option of private university with having 1+ crore fee total. & NEET aspirants who fail to qualify it attempt to suicide also (reason for suicides are mostly parental teachers society pressure only). Seats here in govt colleges/universities are also so less. & Doctors here too are unemployed dreaming of going to practice in usa canada uk.
great work bro lets wake up the youth also keep growing make videos like this documentric style great video i have ever seen on our country's main issues
The thing is we have expected so much from a profession. Bhai kaam karo ge toh paisa aaye ga. Khwari har jaga ha. Kisi profession ma physically zada demand hoti kisi ma mentally. Tawakul on Allah and everything will be fine. Ofc u have to give your best aswell. Prayers for all the young students and doctors out there. Inshallah you will become the gems of the nation.❤
Bat expectations ki nahi hey baat ye hey key input doesn't give u output , career counselling is lacking In our country MBBS is just a fantasy I'm a doctor myself I will try my best that my son will not go in medicine field .
Thanks for highlighting this topic as what we see here is mostly either people who have taken seat or are explaining the hardwork they put in but no one talks about the darker side so thanks once again. Keep up with this good content❤
It's about job satisfaction. Doctors have highest suicide rate. There's no work life balance , it's a depressing field where you witness death every single day with insane working hours and toxic environment. It's definitely overrated. Coming from a doctor
True. I am an assistant professor in a medical college and i can see the oversaturation. New mbbs doctor isn't earning more than 60000. New doctor can't run a family even after spending a huge amount. New medical graduate has to do some post graduation. And even after fresh post graduation he or she will earn around 140000 maximum. So nowadays renting an apartment is also not easy as a livable apartment rent is around 40000 minimum. Bills with one AC is around 40000, grossery takes around 70000. Children schooling and other expenses are hard to manage. So pls swith youself to IT and computers as by doing it and computers u can earn better and u can start your business. Don't waste money in doing mbbs, especially when u want to become independent
Teachers show you that MBBS is life if you do it then you survive otherwise you are nothing but when i can't get admission in medical college and when i saw the world with my perspective then i find that MBBS is nothing there are many other tasks which you can achieve in your life so my advice to all MDCAT students that if you can't get admission doesn't matter saw the world and do what you want to do
Highly appreciating your content. Finally there is someone who is taking about this mbbs system People need to understand that there are many more better professions than mbbs.
I gave my mdcat in 2023 and i got 160 marks in first attempt but unfortunately paper got leaked and i didn't know that what should i do and then the paper was reconducted by DUHS and there are so so many out of syllabus questions and again paper got leaked and in reconduct i got 145 marks so i lost my hope in medical field and i literally made decision that i will not improve and i will not give MDCAT again in 2024 and i switched my field to computer science and yesterday was MDCAT and again it get leak so now i am grateful that i don't relay on this corrupt system and now i am happy so if you guys fail in MDCAT or can't take admission in any university so you can also switch to other fields rather than stick with this corrupt system❤
The pursuit of an MBBS is often seen as prestigious, largely driven by middle-class expectations. As a 28-year-old Civil Engineer, my earning potential exceeds that of 10 young medical officers. However, it’s not just about financial gain - our work significantly impacts society by developing smart infrastructure that shapes the future. Through our efforts, we are building the cities of tomorrow and enhancing the overall quality of life for communities.
Unfortunately I am also a mdcat aspirant and after a gap year I realized I do a big mistake of my life by wasting a whole year on this ugly paper. One of the most corrupt institute of Pakistan is pmdc. If u have any issue that was solve by only pmdc so u have to spend ur more than 2 to 3 month only bcz no one attend ur calls and emails at pmdc. After that u have to visit pmdc physically. Thanks for making a video on this big issue but if ur video comes first I didn't become a mentally disturbed patient
I am also a repeater and experiencing the same feeling as you.I am now in realization (just a day before MDCAT) of wasting a full year on this shit test.I should have probably gone to another university for IT but now its too late. Now i just praying to ace the Mdcat.Such a depressing phase........
Next video ap is topic par bnao ky MDCAT ky bad ham kon kon si fields choose kar sakty hin plz ap ko majority students hi dekh rahy hain plz tell us there is no one to guide us...... Make a video on this fields to choose after MDCAT
I'm also a CA finalist and i went for MDCAT back in 2019 And I'll say Alhamdolilah i didn't go for mbbs indeed mbbs is a noble profession but here in Pakistan the policy makers will never go in favour of students Whilst in CA there are many problems Failure is way more concerned topic and workload in private organization is what scares everyone In short we can say in Pakistan there is nothing for enterprueners.

That's the true insight. You are doing amazing by putting up real scenarios out. Being a graduate of private medical college and still struggling. Its not just studying throughout five years of med school but the real struggle starts after that. Its depressing when you get job for 55k,that too is hard to find. The Licensing exams of AUS,UK,USA.That too is tough and financially draining.Being going through Australian medical council exam myself.Clearing part1 and now working on clinical exam its not easy at all. There is a lot of struggle.Doing licensing exams for abroad is the only option left, because you get to learn from them, seniors abroad consider you a doctor not a junior dr who know nothing as in Pakistan, because there are doctors who cleared fcps1 are not getting training. That's the reason to move abroad.
Love to see that you highlighted a very valuable topic. There should be awareness about this issue. Remember that time is not same. Sooner or later you all would realize that all of this is a rat race. And everyone is getting into it.

Thank you for making this video, I live in UAE, and am a SSC-2 student studying in FBISE. I just want to say this to everyone watching this: See, you may think that abroad you'll get many opportunities but that is not true. Here in UAE, The people who get scholarships are those who are UAE local a.k.a the local people. They get free medical, housing, transport, petrol and everything almost free. Because the population of UAE is 11 million almost and only 1 million are UAE locals so it makes sense, they give alot to their own people. Everything good and right..right? no, it is not, the universities are toooo expensive here, and jobs are like super hard to get..some people come to UAE and leave in some time because they don't get any jobs. And for study too, you should be like RICH RICH to be able to afford a simple university here, For example you're a medical student who wants to do MBBS, for just 1 year, you will have roughly have to pay 11,329,222 pkr, The grass is not always greener on the other side, so please do your full research before taking any decision. There also only ONE pakistani school in the area where i live and it is literally- don't even talk about, it's like ke ham students chala rahe hain school. Yes, if you're REALLY REALLY lucky, you can get a engineering job here for 12 lakhs pkr, yes that also happens but again, it's too expensive here so that money will most go especially if you have a family to support. For students do this instead: Actually do your bachelor degree in pakistan yes, for the first 2 years do it in your university and then apply for a UGRAD schorlarship, you will be able to go to USA for 6 months and they will pay for everything and you won't have to worry about the money, after 6 months you'll come back in pakistan and do your best in studies, after that apply for Harvard scholarships that pay 100% of everything or DAAD scholarship from germany they will pay for everything if you got the scholarship and also they will give you a stipend for 1400 euros per month which is 433,840 pkr per month. And continue your study there, also during that try starting freelancing or a channel etc for earning more, you'll see you will soon be very successful...Wish you all of the best!

However, many students can't afford such courses or don't even know what to learn or when to learn it. This becomes a source of stress for them later on. They choose Computer Science just because they hear that there is a high demand for it in the future.
I am a 12th-grade student, and there are students in my class who don't even know how to type. Our government should pay more attention to Computer Science education.
Please, sir, make a video on this topic as well.

Very insightful video. It's the time to show the reality of medical, specifically MBBS degree. Mostly students aim for MBBS due to parental pressure, societal pressure, fashion, and just for the name of Doctor who did an MBBS. I hate this madness for MBBS. Someone needs to address this......
Such a great way of explaining this topic..
Very happy for how life turned out for you 😊
Hey! Can you please guide me about the non medical fields as you are doing IT.. Is it Worth it ? Or is it difficult for a medical student to pursue computer related fields? I'm totally in your situation
@@qudsia6813 2 years back i also gave my mdcat coudnt secure admission in public sector so i started searching for other fields in biology untill i got to know about computer science i found this field more growing as compared to other medical fields like d pharmacy , nutrition and all

@@qudsia6813 IT is not difficult. It's like for the 1st year or so you won't understand what's all going on and what the shit that I am writing is, then you get used to it and your mind evolves, things start making scene and then it depends on how much time you put it. It is not about the time and money spent it is about the passion to be doctor and help the humanity.
This generation is getting wild
It's about job satisfaction. Doctors have highest suicide rate. There's no work life balance , it's a depressing field where you witness death every single day with insane working hours and toxic environment. It's definitely overrated.

The timing is impeccable 💀

That's why I change Field from medical to computer after FSC medical
Is it easy too study computer after fsc? Like how do you manage doing computer after studying medical for 2 years? Is it easy? Pls reply
