I just passed the route 2 g test at 1:35pm today on the first attempt. The only difference is there is no parallel, 3 point turn, and stop. I only drive around the residential area and highway. It only took like 15/20 mins the test. The only minor mistake I did is front parking was not as perfect but my examiner still let me pass. To be honest I don't how I still manage the pass. The examiner said that I drive really well. It is just I need to practice and fix the parking moving forward. Overall, Thank you Evgeniy for the tips, it was really helpful. :)

Thank you for these amazing videos! I just passed my G test yesterday. The examiner took me on this route but it was a shorter version of this- third line, abbey wood lane, back to third line, qew to Hamilton, exit at bronte, back to Toronto, exit at third line, and back to the drive test. Thank you for the help guys! I just passed my Full G License (G2 Exit) Test via Route 2! My Schedule was January 31, 2022 at around 9 AM. The weather was clear and the roads where well salted. The little quirk I noticed that if you do front parking in the parking lot you will end up doing front parking as well, vice versa with back parking. The only difference I noticed is ever since the pandemic, they have removed the emergency stop, 3-way turn, and parallel parking for the Full G test. Since it makes sense that you have already taken it over the G2 License (G1 Exit) Tests. In my case I took the G1 written then skipped G2 because of the 12+ years experience from the old license from my home country and finally taking the Full G.

This video had helped me so much I did my G test today and this video was super helpful my examiner took route 2 made me do a 3 point turn, parallel parking and they actual take you pass the school zone and then watch your speed to see if it drop from 50 to 40 and make sure you don't turn when making turns in the bicycle lane anyways amazing Video

I've watched your videos a few times to calm my nerves down about the Oakville test. I just hope that the traffic won't be too intense, especially during this time of the year.
Took the G test today at Oakville and I passed 1st try. This was the exact route that the examiner asked me to follow. Your video helped me so much to know what might be expected on the test. Thank you 😆 I did the test early in the morning after 7.30am the traffic on the highway was pretty crowded but the examiner still asked me to change lanes a couple times. Residential area was busy as well with school buses and kids.

@@PeterOla1122 Hi, I did my test at St. Cathrine's, for which I did not find a video for the test route, however I watched many videos created on this TH-cam channel and they covered every single thing I saw in my own test. So you should be fine if you watch both Oakville routes in this channel.
One comment I had from the tester is that I should look both ways before crossing through an intersection with green traffic lights. I hope this helps :)

Thank you for the video. I used it as a reference point and practised a couple of times on the Route 1 and 2. I did clear my G Full. The route they took me was Left on Wycroft Left on Bronte Left on Wyett Right on Bridge Right on Bronte and then on to the 403 W. And literally I had parked on the same parking spot no 24!

Did you do it in Oakville? Did you actually get tested on parallel parking or reverse parking? I thought with the modified test you wouldn't.
@@fizzybizzy3790 I did the test in oakville. No I didn’t get tested on parallel or reverse, but I practiced them after watching the videos just to be on the safer side

I suggest driving this route in advance, there is a weird left turn at a stop sign followed by multiple schoolzone signs obscured by trees, but I passed!
Just passed my test. Took route 2 but went through a quicker residential area route and skipped the Parallel park, 3-point turn, and emergency stop. The test took 15 minutes and the service was quick. Route 1 has some heavy construction going on so I recommend scouting that area just in case. The rest of my test was the exact same as the video and the staff there were quite kind. Fast and simple process.

So I passed my test on the first try using route 2 (25/5/2022), I didn't do parallel parking, 3 point turn or emergency stop or school zone. This help so much thank you this video was so helpful
How was the modified test? You still went to the residential area or just got on highway and got off?
@@hinaz8917 we did a little residential. Once we went on the street, I went around a round about and then made my way back on the main road and went on the highway.

I just passed my G test. It was based on new rules so no Parallel parking, no 3 points turn and no emergency stop. I was taken to route 2 and your video helped me alot. Good work, keep it up!

@@rainehernandez8345 I just passed mine. It didn’t take long, maybe 15 minutes. I did have to go through a residential area but I didn’t do any parallel parking, 3 point turn, or emergency stop. I took route 2 I’m guessing cause route 1 has a bunch of construction going on. The test wasn’t out of the ordinary and my examiner was kind. Good luck.
@@rainehernandez8345 it was around 10 mins long. Instructor asked me to goto residential area first. We just drove around there for 3 mins and then he asked me to go on highway (thirdline) towards Hamilton. Then we got off on Burloak drive and merged onto highway again. Got off on thirdline and back to test center.

However I have a doubt, I am planning to take G test using my car, so should I have to turn off the blind spot monitoring system, lane keep assist, reverse camera during the road test even though I will be doing shoulder check on every turns. Awaiting your thoughts on this. Will they fail the road test if these technologies are on?

For the roadside stop, is it mandatory to switch on the emergency blinkers on? I was under the impression that when you break down on the highway or you've an issue with your car then only you turn on those blinkers.

11:53 it seems to me that the school bus backlights were blinking and the stop sign was on. I would’ve stopped. Can you please explain why didn’t you ?
4 way stop signals does not mean you have to stop. Bus needs to have the stop signs out which are flashing. You can see those stop signs close to the bus driver's door.

How did you all memorize the route to practice before exam ?
