I passed my G2 on this road, the examiner was very nice and comforting me. I was so nervous because I failed many times before . I was asked to park uphill assuming it's a curve and then do 3 point turn right after I parked. When we return the parking was packed, he asked if I knew how to reverse park and I said yes confidently but couldn't find place or he just believed me because he liked my 3 point turn...then he said I did some silly mistakes but I passed 😊 The tips on this video were helpful because I didn't even see this road before I took my test. Thank you
My kid passed the G2 road test, thanks for your tips. The route used was route 1 from your other video: left on Wyecroft, left on Bronte Rd, left on Waterford St, right on Trevor Dr, then some more side roads (examiner asked my kid to do downhill parking, 3-pt turn), after that, back to DriveTest and do a reverse parking.
I just passed today my G full test. Thank you for tips and tricks. I was familiar to roads before I went there. They are using Route 2nd for exam but I didn’t make 3 point turn emergency stop or parallel parking. But it depends on examiner. They can make small changes on the route. Even I came back to drive test examiner didn’t want to reverse parking. I saw many drivers did reverse parking before me. Keep calm. Don’t forget to Blind spots and never roll the car on 🛑 stop signs.
Hi Evgeniy .... I watched both the routes and i passsed my G2 on this Route 2 and Thanks to you for mentioning this all in with so much details and this route i memorize so well before my test i watched atleast 5 to 6 times ... thanks for making such videos ....
Thank you for these videos! They helped boost my confidence and contained valuable info! I previously held a G license, since 1990, but it expired just before Covid hit. I went to renew it in March and was just past the 3 year mark, so I have to do the graduated licensing process, but can do each test without the waiting period that first time drivers are subject to. I have not driven in Canada in years because since 2015 I lived in the DR, so I drove there until my driver's license expired but could not renew it as I needed to do the vision test and I was not in Canada. Therefore it has been a few years since I have driven, but thankfully it is like riding a bike and you don't forget, lol, but you do pick up bad habits. I failed the G1 on my first attempt because I did not read up on G1 and G2 licensing rules, they were not around when I did my learner's permit many moons ago, lol, but I did pass it on my second attempt! Today I did the G2 road test with only one day of practice in years, done about 4 days before my test. I PASSED! The tester was laid back and personable so that definitely helped relax me. We turned right when we left the center so I was fully expecting to turn right on Third Line but surprisingly the tester told me to turn left. We then proceeded to Kings College Dr, turned left, then turned left on Giles Gate, and then left on the second Brays Lane. I was told to park like it was uphill. Then we drove around the corner where I was told to do a 3 point turn. Then we returned to the center and I was told to reverse park between two cars on the right, which I did not do in one shot, but only had to correct my direction once. No parallel parking for this test, thank goodness! Good luck everyone else that is ready to take the test. Just relax and follow the rules of the road and the tips in these videos!
Also, on the Third line when the road changes from one lane to 2 lanes, should we signal right and check blind spot first before moving to the right lane?
Thank you for sharing this video, it's very useful and appreciate your effort on this.. However I have a doubt, I am planning to take G test using my car, so should I have to turn off the blind spot monitoring system, lane keep assist, reverse camera during the road test even though I will be doing shoulder check on every turns. Awaiting your thoughts on this. Will they fail the road test if these technologies are on?
At 17.14, at the RED TRAFFIC LIGHT on TURNING RIGHT ON THIRD Line, there is a "STOP HERE ON RED SIGNAL" sign meaning you should not turn right on RED here but the driver did turn right on RED LIGHT.
I noticed that there is no speed sign for 60km/hr on third line, are we just supposed to know that it's 60km/hr or did the person in this video make a mistake?
I just did mine and passed!! Literally was like 10 mins super easy. I believe i did route one and as soon as we went to a residential area did a uphill park and 3 point turn like shortlyyyyyy like 5-10 seconds after lol. Then went back to the centre. I was told to keep my hands firmer on the steering wheel so keep that in mind 😁

Go 15 mins early and park in a drivetest parking spot. You need to know the parking spot number to register as well as the car plate and make. Go to first window in centre. Stay calm! Welcome aboard!
Thank u so much for making this very helpful video!
My exam is tomorrow 😊 please wish me succes 🌷
Hope it went well.
Do we have to turn the wheel all the way right/left after parallel parking? or it's okay to leave it straight?
I have the same question
No only downhill and uphill parking
@@elodieb.5005 only downhill and uphill parking
It was so helpful me today.I got first attempt my G2
Woo Hoo!
Was it the same route?
Same route?
Thanks, will be taking the exam next week, Wed, April 27, 2022. Hope I will pass.
Was it the same route?
@evgeniy Tchernychov it’s possible to get a mock test with you to the same road(1 & 2 )??
Passed my test!! Thank you so much
Also, on the Third line when the road changes from one lane to 2 lanes, should we signal right and check blind spot first before moving to the right lane?
is it possible they may take you down a road with a curb to do hill parking? (route 2)
May I ask why was the speed limit 60 when you made the right turn on to third line when there was no speed limit sign so I assume it's 50

hi i had a question! How do i make it obvious to examiner that I'm checking for pedestrians?
I have a question, on the reverse parking are they asking you for a 90 degree or can it be 45? thanks!
eep my test is tomorrow hope i pass
Is it OK to do 45 degree reverse bay parking during the drive test or does it have to be 90 degrees? .oakville.
Are these the only two routes for this drive test centre?
I am Outside the exam center and watching this. But why did u turn the wheels when u did parallel parking. The road wasn't uphill or downhill
Is doing g2 test in Oakville generally easy to pass? Pls I’m doing my test soon🙏🏽
Did u pass
At 17.14, at the RED TRAFFIC LIGHT on TURNING RIGHT ON THIRD Line, there is a "STOP HERE ON RED SIGNAL" sign meaning you should not turn right on RED here but the driver did turn right on RED LIGHT.
you’re wrong that means that you have to first stop behind the line before advancing to turn on a red line
I failed with this route and it was my fourth time I failed, last 3 times was Route 1
what do you think you did wrong? my test is soon
@@zeninvites3209 I was nervous during the test , all the best for you in your test, just relax and concentrate

Hi there! Thanks for this video! Do you have to turn on your hazard lights during uphill/downhill, parallel parking, etc?

Go 15 mins early and park in a drivetest parking spot. You need to know the parking spot number to register as well as the car plate and make. Go to first window in centre.
Stay calm! Be alert for trucks and ready to slow down or change lanes or stop if needed!
Start when right lane is clear!
Right out of parking lot on Wyecroft 50km/h
LONG RD CHECK MIRRORS, SPEED, & LIGHT
Right at Third Line
STEEP DROP UNDER BRIDGE, SLOW
Next light Speers Rd (fast left lane change, lane ends*)
Left at Bridge road
First left at Weynway (residential) 40KM/H
Maneuvers* then back to Drivetest
Right at Weynway*
Right at Bridge road
Speers Rd 60km/h
Left at Third Line
Left on Wyecroft into Drivetest (1st entrance*)
Reverse park
*ALWAYS USE MSB: MIRROR SIGNAL BLINDSPOT FOR LANE CHANGES AND TURNING, AND CHANGE LANE WITHIN BROKEN LINES BEFORE INTERSECTION
*SPEED INCREASES RAPIDLY BECAUSE OF DROP UNDER BRIDGE (45km/hr = 60km/hr*), YOUR VEHICLE MIGHT BE LESS IF YOU HAVE A SMALLER VEHICLE OR MORE, USE YOUR DISCRETION, TOO SLOW COULD BE A FAIL
*Maneuvers = roadside park (parking: signal right, handbrake park then handbrake signal left MSB), uphill/downhill park without curb (turn wheels right before parking, STRAIGHTEN WHEEL FAST WHEN LEAVING to not end up in a ditch), parallel parking if possible (watch videos and practice with different size cars), 3-point turn (back up if too close to car in front, signal left put car in drive then right to left blind spot mirrors check while locking your wheel left and drive to opposite curb side, signal right put car in reverse same check while locking wheel right reverse to centre of road, signal left put car in drive same check while locking wheel left left into right lane, straighten wheel)
*Bridge Rd for red lights, sometimes it is red for intersection lights in front and sides, there is an advanced light, check intersection for cars and crosswalk for people MSB before turning right
Right turns try to decrease to about 20KM/H to maintain good control and try to always use hand over hand method whenever turning the wheel
*When returning to drivetest centre slow down to about 20km/h with signal on, check for cars passing and stop if path isn't clear before turning left (you may be asked to exit or enter at the first entrance farthest from the drivetest center)
BEWARE OF PEDESTRIANS AND CARS ESPECIALLY IN THE PARKING LOT AND INTERSECTIONS, ALWAYS MAKE SURE YOUR WAY IS CLEAR
awesome, thanks a lot
