      Maybe I should have just recommended the computer and not been thorough. Looks like customer is gonna fix it so there will be a follow up video.

      I cleaned my throttle body with cleaner, but I still get the epc light. So it’s either the pedal control or throttle body right if epc light comes on?

    Perfect diagnostic flow!
    I am a technician too.
    Was searching for VW TSi no throttle response.
    Lets check the sensor grounds on a 2012 VW Passst 2.0 TSi that has no throttle response.

    Wow, great video. Gave a bit more to look at with my issue. The difference in the ECUs should only be narrowband o2 and wideband O2 btw

    I think I might have detected just a tinge of sarcasm in your tone while describing the post manufacture engineering that was done on the car....

    Also could you walk me through something? I get the same codes as you (p1631 and p1634) we’ve replaced the o2 sensors and wire, and ecu checked the wires and still no throttle, replaced the throttle pedal assembly any help goes a long way

    • @CoolAirVw
      @CoolAirVw  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      what does "ECU checked" mean?

      No wait I’m missing a comma between ecu and checked. As in weaved looked for shorts all over and couldn’t find any

      P01634 should either be the TPS or ECU

      Used ones are stupid cheap especially at pick and pull. Immo is a problem if yuour using a used one, though. I dont remember who I sent the computer to.

    I have sometimes no respond to the pedal, maby once a month and only for a few seconds and everything is working fine again, any ideas? I had a P 0130 o2 sensor code for a while but bank 1 (wideband) sensor 1, but its gone after cleaning the throttle and a new ignition coil and cable.

    Hey did you post a follow up? And where could I get my hands on those schematics

    • @CoolAirVw
      @CoolAirVw  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      what is there to follow up? I think we fixed the car in this video if I recall correctly. We pay a tech service for access to wire schematics and other factory service info. Services like Pro-demand (Mitchell), All-Data and Identifix are the ones commonly used by auto shops. You can also get schematics from your Bentley shop manual or even haynes manuals.
