I want to do so much with my 2000 lesabre, but...as an employee of lowes, I cant really afford to get new parts..I want to replace all the parts and set the mileage back to 0 before I start putting performance parts....I'm not very knowledgeable about cars...but I'd love to learn as I go since I'm not in college
After going through 3 stock transmissions, I went with a fully built 65e. But the guys have figured out hot to make the 4t80e work which is a beast and can handle way more power. The swap, that all depends on how good you are with turning wrenches. For me, it was easy, but someone else, it would be a nightmare 😂
I don't know if you can see these messages after the video has been out for a long time, but I own a 2000 supercharged 3800 Park Avenue, and have been thinking about turbocharger it too, I was hoping to get some info about how you did yours and where you got yours.

When you say "super kit" are you referring to the l36 supercharger kit? If so, then, yes. I would highly recommend joining the Facebook groups. There is the 3800performance page with around 12k members and also the 3800marketplace. I'm telling you right now, you can find a whole top swap for your car a whole lot cheaper than that kit.
Whats the difference between those zzp coils and stock coils? Beautiful car! I love my 03! Also, I love ur grille! Is that a different emblem? If u sell that grille, I'll buy it! I put the emblem from a 06 lacrosse on mine.
I'm actually going to sell the zzp coils. A buddy of mine did a test on them and they compared really good with the stock blues. I ended up getting brand new stocks...so the zzp coils are just sitting. I found that grill on another LeSabre in the junk yard!
I bought an 03 LeSabre few months back 380 series 2 does not have supercharger and I have been trying to find somebody that I have been trying to find someone that could give me a loan information I know someone it has got a factory 3800 what my question is can I put that supercharger which I would like to service it if I did would it be a direct bolt on or would I have to do anyting different being it is a factory non-supercharged.. I would appreciate your info can you seem to have some good knowledge over these engines
You would need to do what is called a top swap. So that includes the lower intake, heads, supercharger pulleys, belt, injectors with their connectors, 2 bar map sensor with its connector, balancer, tune, and I'm sure I'm missing something....or the second option is to buy the kit from zzp which is over priced.
Them coils tho, where did you find these?, I just bought an 03 Park Ave ultra with a super charged 3800, I uploaded a vid of it, would really like help to do it like your doing with this one, very cool
ZZP. But stock blues (blue bottoms) are still far superior than any aftermarket coil. I went with these cuz they were the new addition and we're supposed to be very close to stocks.
It's got a fully built stage 3 tep transmission in it. Stock transmissions can barely handle stock power... Lol They turn to glass real quick. Even a stage 4 (which is the highest) will be your limiting factor. And thank you!
I don't even know any more bro... Lol Transmission is over 3k. The injectors are 800. The ic setup probably around 800 for everything. 250 for rockers. Several hundred for the pulleys. 225 for the fuel rails. The SC setup a few hundred. 200 for the balancer...I spent over 500 for hp tuners to do all the tune work. This isn't counting all the times I've changed setups and lost money on resale of the parts either... I have 1500 in to the turbo kit that's on the way...

These are the Bonnie GXP wheels. Found them in the junkyard and had them powder coated

No. I didn't. Everything was original to the car frame wise.
