Surprised I’ve never seen this before. Exceptionally good
miku is an angelic entity i think
This made the piece even more divine and transcendent lmao
This rendition is such a gift. Bach’s extraordinary genius shines through in a way that is free from distracting interpretive timing, emotionality, and added notes, which often draw attention to the limitations of the performer(s) and away from the essence of Bach’s unparalleled creativity. And the perfect (untempered) intervals, which would be impossible to continually produce by acoustic instruments and singers, give rise to harmonies and dissonances in their purity that would otherwise be masked and tend to go unnoticed.
And oh so wonderful to hear Bach vocal music without the excessive vibrato!
i wonder what bach had done if he had had access to electronic equipment...
smashed it and continued with his piano as usual
@Aristoper: Bach dislike fortepiano. FYI.
He would have tried every possible use of new equipments with his soul unchanged.
@@Aristoper the harpsichord and organ you mean mate.
the organ is an acoustic synthesizer after all
I have entered... weaboo empire. God help me.
You have entered, Lutheran weaboo empire. GO BACH!!!
Incredible. Had an amazing experience listening to this, different from listening to more usual recordings.
Damn I'm crying...
Why his music works so wonderfully with Miku?
You can't do this to other composers to make someone cry.
There is a certain beauty you never notice while listing to other version. And I'm dying to find out what that is.
Differences in the recording techniques/sound balance often contribute to different instruments and aspects of the composition coming out more than others.
this is like honey to my ears
This is very good but in my opinion the ripieno soprans need to be louder at the O Lamm Gottes Unschuldig, the choral sometimes just went silent and on some parts the flute are just a bit too loud. Thats it the rest is terrific
This is my new most favourite thing in the fucking world.
ommggg Miku what are you doing in Leipzig?!? 😳
This is wonderful. The two Roland synth modules (SE-1 and OC-1) sound fantastic... and of course Miku is in top form. ^_^
great, great, great, great
i can't believe it!! 初音 sings Matthew Passion? This is sooo amazing!!!
Funny, howthe intro of the Matthew passion of Bach transcends form and conventions, it still carries it's essence and depth even with funny and akward voices. But then again, maybe it has just to do with the eye of the beholder
Most of Bach does
Agreed. Bach is surely the most versatile music ever
Now that was something was not expecting to find today!
Cool.
Es una total Obra de Arte... por dios!! o.o
esa musica viene del cielo... o.o
es increible... =O
por Johan Sebastian Bach!
y el Anime!!
Vivan!! *O*
Bye~
bach was a hyper genius, to lead 3 voices like this... wow
It's more than three

wow ya quisiera componer asi
So I guess this is a 9 part choral.
The second quartet is rather an accompaniement
and the little girl in the middle sings the choral melody.
This is lovely.
You can see it as a 9 part choral prelude, but it's not written like any choral prelude bach ever wrote. I think it's safer to consider it as a work sui generis.
@@frenchimp how is it different
Vaya, Hatsune Miku y compañía cantando música sacra del gran Bach o.o
you should do bach mass in b minor
@handofgod111 Very well put. I am a devoted follower of Bach's music, but even I was taken to heaven and back listening to this. In a way, it has a certain advantage in that one can so very clearly hear all the lines of the counterpoint interweaving with one another. That is the glory of sacred polyphony: it incarnates the Eternal Dance of God, the very many-in-oneness that is part of his nature bursts out into a universe of sound.
LOL!!! Oh no you didnt!!!
This is hilariously brilliant!
Misses some of the "body" of a good matthew passion performance though... I think I'll stick with the real thing.
QUE COSA MAS BELLA!!! AUN SIENDO UN PROGRAMA ELECTRONICO; LA OBRA SIGUE SIENDO MARAVILLOSA!!!!!
Is the Bach's Passion according to St. John on your to-do list?
Please do that one!
Bach wanted to do this!😊👍
would love to have the mp3 without registration in japanese..
What did you use to make the track? What virtual instruments?
AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I like the human version, but I LOVE this.
This is ok, but I much prefer the original.
Either tell hugin33 something he/she DOESN'T know, or leave him/her alone.
I enjoyed this. Thank you. Hope you will check out my classical music uploads with Vocaloid!
I recall my first exposure to synthesized music was "Switched on Bach", played by Walter (Wendy) Carlos. I was intrigued, but this takes it to a far higher level. To think I should have lived to see such an elevation in so short a time!
Miku is much cuter than Carlos, by far!
This is so much more creepy than Microsoft Sam. It's next level creepy.
Respect for your fine artwork. As a German I can feel the cultural difference between the japanese and the german culture. An educated, conservative German would probably never do this, because Bach's Passion is too serious to transfer (or transform) it in such a manner. But I enjoyed your video.
If this ends up evoking more emotions for some listeners than a choral arrangement would, then that “serious” attitude is only doing harm
each part has their important task..equal portion according their unique pitch..
to create whole harmony..to glorify God..
Unlike our world today.. each of part try to be the first..the most., the best..
And those causes war..
selfish. No God in their minds, but theirselves..

Thank you for your participation in upholding the law! :)
Only IQ>120 people can understand his music. So if you like it, you are very likely a very intelligent person
Malditos desenhos japones.
WHO DID THIS CRIME ?????
It is not a crime. In many respects, it sounds better than many muddled "real" versions.
