Federer is a paragon of a Tennis player. His technique will probably never be replicated. Sure Nadal is a powerhouse and Novak a machine, but watching Federer is like seeing your favorite painting or hearing great music

His and nadal’s forehand are similar. If nadal’s hand doesn’t whip around his head, it looks exactly like rogers but with a different grip.

Roger is poetry in motion, the most spectacular player to ever play the game! I am so grateful to live at the same time as Roger and fortunate to watch him up close a few times, so amazing to witness first hand! What a loss for the sport when he'll retire. Play as long as you can Roger!!

Seeing him hitting tennis shots looks like a fish swimming in water. It happens so naturally....no effort, no fuss.....just the way it should be. I feel gifted and honoured to have been a tennis enthusiast in his time and to have seen him play live on TV. Thank you Roger....You are a blessed being that you gave happiness to so many people by just your tennis shots. You will ever be remembered. Love you Roger. i am in tears right now while typing my comments. I am 58 and play this beautiful sport that Roger too plays....This is honour multiplied.

Like Becker says, "you don't know if Roger is playing tennis or performing ballet". One of the best slow mo of Fed. You managed to get Fed in full flight for the run around forehand. It's quite a beautiful stoke. No one even comes close to doing that better.

Second that, Edberg was my favorite player before Federer appears.
Both played effortless but there a big difference, Edberg used his court speed to anticipate and win points, most with volleys. Federer, in the other hand, mostly used his technique to create shots from the baseline, firing missiles, and this Edberg was not able to do.
